is it a bad thing to want your boyfriend/ baby daddy to stop smoking weed & cigarettes & drinking ? I just want what's best for the baby, my dad was an alcoholic & I don't want weed around our baby when he or she comes..
I don't smoke weed. So I guess I will never understand. But I'm not sure why people smoke weed when they're pregnant!

Not trying to start drama just curious: If there isn't enough medical evidence to say weed helps or harms a baby in the womb how can someone say a baby born that the mother smoked weed with has withdrawals I've never heard of a babu withdrawing from weed and I know dozens of friends who smoked weed with their babies

I did the same thing. It was all the time with him though. We aren't together and I told him he could either stop or not be around his child. I'm not going to risk something happening to my child or getting my baby taken away over that bullshit. @mommymoni

I wouldn't stop your man from going out for a drink every once in a while, but around the child I wouldn't allow any smoking or excessive drinking.

not bad my husband stopped when we were dating. but now is smoking cigarettes. . I hate it. but his excuse is he's stressed. he doesn't do it at home thoe just at work

No it's not a bad thing at all. My boyfriend still drinks & I can't stand it. I finally got him to quit smoking both cigs an weed though.. Everyone say's I'm controlling but there's a time when Mom has to put her foot down.

It's not bad at all. Your Boyfriend/ husband and any family member should understand. it's wat is safe for you and the babies life.
