No withdrawal, I was a heavy smoker before I got pregnant. You can't get addicted, you just might think you. Most harmless drug ever. Cigarettes are worse! Still smoke but only when I feel super sick or I have a headache or stressed. But other girls on here still say I shouldn't be a mom because of it. I don't see myself doing anything wrong. @wyatts_mommy_0106

lol they were cause.my hubby was selling and I had to weigh it and bag it and collect money but when I went into.labor at 35 weeks I was glad I quit when I was bagging the weed up.I'd smell each piece lol @ketymrtnz but once baby is born you can start back once home I had my cousin waiting for me with a j lol

yeah mine said with no solid evidence he can't tell me its safe but I could smoke a bowl a day or every other day he did tell me.the hospital would drug test and to quit at 6-7 months I did at 6 but 2&1/2 months later I had him so I'm.glad I did lol @ketymrtnz

lol yeah I smoked once while breastfeeding but I pumped everything before I did but once he got put on formula I.started back again but that's my mommy time.once he is asleep. yeah same here I'm.not gonna encourage a mom.to smoke.but.I'm not gonna scare her with false info either. its their choice what they do @mrscruz0530

I'm not sure if in my hospital they will drug test but I'm planning on quitting once I hit my 7 months just in case. Plus I take only a few hits, at night just to sleep and for my back so it's completely fine. Plus the doc said not to abuse it since there hasn't been full blown studies on it. I smoke probably every other night but nothing big either lol

As long as they stop soon enough for it to be out of their system they should be good and cps won't get involved I'm not one to tell someone to go ahead and keep smoking but I won't bash someone for their own choices it's not my place . I'm not going to smoke again until I'm completely done breastfeeding and that's if I choose to smoke again lol it like its meth or heroin lol

Yes the states it isn't legal in they will drug test the baby they tested mine but.I quit when my Dr told me to in order to pass the drug test. but I've never seen a baby have withdrawals from weed use from the mom. and that's crazy my hubby was in the hospital and smelled.like.weednand they never said anything to.me.or him about it @supermom1104

Yeah I can see that I was scared to smoke and breastfeed so I pumped and then I'd smoke so he had clean milk but my sister told me to feed baby first smoke and by the time.baby was hungry it was out of her milk but I didn't trust that and I stopped until I dried up and then I started again cause my son got put.on formula cause I wasn't producing enough for him @izzysmommy1003

@ketymrtnz, people are just so quick.to judge a mother for her choices and wants to make her feel bad. same here he said if I wanted to smoke a bowl a day to help instead of meds he could prescribe that was my choice and it helped with my extreme back.pain I.had chronic morning sickness and its genetic cause my mom.had it too I saw 3-4 women tell a mom.her baby was gonna have withdrawals from weed I was thinking are you.kidding me

my friends baby got drug tested and she could've gotten him taken away if she had smoked weed during pregnancy, they wanted to test him because he baby daddy came into the hospital high and reeking of it

If the dr says it's fine and won't hurt the baby then I don't see why not. I was scared cause I had a edible and I was breastfeeding at the time and I didn't want to pass anything to him

Yes exactly people still classify weed as a bad drug but in reality weed is beneficial for so many things. I believe that I know I hit milestones earlier than a lot of babies and my son has hit milestones sooner than a lot of my friends kids and they didn't smoke and he is chill unless something is wrong with him and my Dr said he can't tell me.I can smoke because its illegal where I live but he won't put I popped dirty cause I smoked a bowl throughout the day and as long as I quit to get baby's system clean nothing would happen as far as CPS getting involved @mrscruz0530

@wyatts_mommy_0106, exactly . It's cause there's a lot of people against the overall thought of smoking and all that but don't know the real benefits of it. If it wasn't for smoking, I would've been super skinny and throwing up cause my docs didn't wanna prescribe me any meds cause I wasn't throwing up liquids 😒

exactly some people freak out and make you seem like your the worst person in the world and just are so judgemental is crazy I've known women to smoke far into their pregnancy because they didn't know they were pregnant or their symptoms like nausea were hard for them but I've never known a baby to have withdrawals because of it. they even did a study in Jamaica of a group of women who smoked vs a group that didn't and the babies who's moms smoked actually were alot more calm and hit milestones earlier then the babies who's mothers didn't smoke

Yeah I understand waiting but now with weed legal in most states for medical use some drs encourage women to smoke a bowl.or J a day to help with the sickness and aches in pain instead of getting RX drugs for that @izzysmommy1003

I've never heard of babies getting withdrawals from weed but highly discourage smoking while pregnant

That's what I'm saying @ketymrtnz @mrscruz0530 my mom smoked a joint a day everyday when pregnant with me and I was perfectly fine and super smart and I smoked with my son halfway through and he is the same way smart and healthy. I see so many women tell mom.if they smoke weed their baby will have withdrawals it is ridiculous cause they don't have medical evidence of that and weed isn't a hardcore drug now yes of you do method, coke, heroine, etc yeah the baby will have issues and withdraws from that drug

I do know that the babies come out very bad when they're mother uses the hard drugs like Coke, meth, heroine and all that crazy stuff.

I know a bunch of people that either smoked throughout their pregnancy, or half way and their children are completely fine.
