So My Pap Smear results came back saying I have abnormal Cells , I'm definitely Freaking out !!! I got a colposcopy…

@mommyoftwosoon, I had one come back abnormal as well. Colposcopy scheduled for the 2nd. Don't worry too much about it, it's normal during pregnancy

it's not a big deal usually! I've had an abnormal test before and the next year it was normal again! I was told if you're under 25 it fixes itself in a lot of cases :) good luck!

no @hermommy i had it too and got the procedure done and i have low grade cancer cells ...its not std related @mommyoftwosoon

oh, It can be an imbalance it can be multiple things but not normally a big deal @perhsice

@hermommy, the std would be something to worry about I'm married lol but a yeast infection I can understand it happens to some pregnant women . . hopefully it's nothing serious at all .

lol sorry girl i was just telling you what I was told by gynecologist over the years but yeah in a marriage Thad be an issue@mommyoftwosoon praying its something like a hormone imbalance and it's nothing a pill or creams wouldn't fix

@mommyoftwosoon, aw man :( i feel bad i went thru the same and it was rough. they're checking for cancer cells. i got to like the last last test before it was fine and just had to keep getting pap smears every 3 to 6 months until it went away.

yeah , I asked my doctor and explained that to me that's why I'm worried because I don't want to go through that at all . . plus I'm a "worrier" I worry way to much . @longoverduein2016

I had one come back abnormal years ago and on the retest I was fine. They said it could have been a fluke and is not totally unusual to have it come back that way. Don't stress!

@mommyoftwosoon, yea i hope everything is ok. i was stressed to the max but hopefully it helps you to know that i was fine and all my paps are completely normal now. so it's possible it's fine! i didn't have anyone to relate to when i went through it

No prob! They literally never knew why it came back that way. They did have me come back every few months just in case to be sure but all was fine! It's not always bad. This was probably when I was 29 or 30yrs old.

@mommyoftwosoon, I had abnormal cells on and off for years and the past year and a half my paps have come back normal. The colposcopy will let the dr see exactly where they are, my dr just watched mine but never saw a need for any treatment. Just more visits each year and sometimes biopsies Which sound scary but it really was painless! Hoping all works out and it's nothing serious!! :)

@mommyoftwosoon, if it was an std or an yeast infection they would know that from the cultures they took during your pap. it could be nothing it could be something. I've had an abnormal pap twice. The first was nothing the second they found low grade cancer. Everything worked out fine and I am Praying that all is okay with you.
