How do you feel about getting your new born baptized? Is it a religion thing, is it important to you, have you and your partner talked about it ?

my in laws are strict catholics and my mom side are all about christianity. its like a tug of war but my choice is to not baptize my child to any religion. im going to still teach him about god and everything but until he is old enough to decide what religion he would like to be baptized into he is not going to have a religion

our religion doesn't believe in baptizing a newborn because they just entered the world and are as perfect as can be and don't have any sins to be washed away. we do it another way and that is definitely important to us.
