my was on 6weeks 2 day, they don't do anything besides urine test (I was still waiting for insurance approval). my doctor told me that is too early to even hear heart (and I forgot about that, if I'll only wait week or bit more:( instead I was waiting over a month for next appointment )

yeah, they'll probably confirm pregnancy and just talk to you for about an hour. that was my first appt at 9 weeks. they can't get heartbeat or anything til around 10 weeks.

my first was at 5w but that's because I had an appointment scheduled. so they confirm but don't know much and will schedule you again for 2-4 w

my first appt was 5w6d and they did blood test and urine test . next appt was scheduled 8w4d for ultrasound.

I did I was 5 weeks 2days and they did a ultra sound in confirmed it was a sac and I did a urine test and they took blood...and then I just went back Monday and i was 7 weeks 1day and I was able to see the heart beat and they gave me 3 ultrasound pics.. I go back Feb 22

You couldn't find a babysitter?!

You couldn't find a babysitter?! Mommas, do you take your kids with you to run errands and go to mundane appointments? On two separate occasions, a doctors appointment for me and today at a car service appointment, someone has remarked "you couldn't find a babysitter?!" It never crossed my mind to find a babysitter. I take my 2 kids with me just about everywhere. They are well behaved (minus the occasional 3 year old meltdown) and one of them is attached to my boob the majority of the time anyway. Am I the only one? Is that a weird thing to do? Do most moms find babysitters?
