Im just afraid to go into labor .. i know nothing about how it feels 😂 & people say epidural isn't good for you to get rid of pain 😕😕😕 it gives you back problems after a while
I had an epidural but it didn't work on me because I got it to late. But once I felt my contractions I didn't run to the hospital rite away. I took a nice warm bath and that helps a lot. And as soon as I would feel it again I would just breath in and out. But when ur baby comes out all the pain disappears. It's amazing what our bodies are capable of.
I've had 2 epidurals 9 and 12 years ago and I'm fine and I'm getting another 1 with this baby
I had mine almost 7 years ago... No problems as of yet. Again it depends on how good the doctor is who puts it in.
honestly, I'm a HUGE baby, I stub my toe and I cry.
I had my daughter all natural, no epidural, I had IV meds, (nubain) & it knocked me out from 3-10 cm,
i was admitted at 1 cm 50%, they gave me a vaginal insert that was supposed to only help open my cervix more so that could induce me, but 1 in 4 women go into active labor with the insert, and I happened to have been that lucky 1 in 4! lol. so I felt EVERYTHING, yes, the contractions do hurt. but they are not the worst pain I've ever felt, and like I said I'm a HUGE baby. Honestly, I have a tattoo on my left forearm that some goes on my wrist, and him tattooing my wrist hurts way worse than the contractions...
but they say later on in life you have these back problems. not right after @tvaine2016
I had an all natural birth with my first and csection with my twins.. Obviously had an epidural with my twins and I have no back problems. It depends on how good the doctor who puts it in is... Do not and I mean do not let them have a student do it... My friend did and she was poked like 5 times before they got it right.
your doctor hasn't gone over them all with you yet ? 😮 there's IVs and other ways. I dont remember all the ways he told me. I was kinda set on epidural lol.
its my first too so im nervous!! the way other women talk about the pain i get overwhelmed smh
lol girl i can just picture how crazy ima be going in that hospital room 😂😂😂 @julissalarinaa
good luck. I had a edipural and I believe it's about the doctor as well. I e heard bad things about it but shit when I felt those contractions was i HAPPIER THAN EVER THAT I GOT THE EPIDURAL....... i can't imagine labor without it. in regards to other pain management optioms, I wouldn't take anything through the IV cuz it will make the baby drowsy and can slow up the labor process and then ur baby come out all drugged up. that's what I heard in my child birth education class anyway.
