I'm so in love with my newest princess! Breastfeeding exclusively has again been the best decision I have made. She eats like a champ and is beyond an amazing sleeper!

I had my baby at 5:54pm. Weighing 8lbs 1oz and 20.5inches long. Miss Alaina Grace has finally come.

Two more days... Getting more than a little anxious about Thursday! Can't wait to see my baby girl... Almost 41 weeks and finally knowing the end is near... Here's to hoping I have a very successful vbac!

Today is my due date! Too bad I know she isn't coming today... She's just too comfortable in there.. Lol

So after talking with my ob yesterday she decided that it would be best to set up an induction date just in case I don't go in to labor on my own. I'm due tomorrow and my induction date is set for the 9th. There are risks involved that have been discussed in detail as it's risky to allow me to wait for baby to make an appearance on her own and risks with the induction. Allowing me to wait could end with me needing a csection if she is too big for me to push her out and induction risks are my ute...

So while I was working over the last 5 days I was having a good amount of contractions. So on Friday afternoon I figured I'd ask my doctor to do a membrane sweep to help the contractions regulate and hopefully get this show on the rode... Well guess what happened instead.... It made all my contractions stop... I even went walking after the sweep to bring them on but all I got out of it was swollen feet. It appears that my body and the baby just aren't ready for her to come.... I'm due on the 2nd...

Went to the doctor's Friday and the doctor says they want to induce me early because the baby is measuring small. I'll be 38 weeks on Thursday and she said she doesn't want me having a late term baby. So when I go back I'm going to ask why exactly they think it may be necessary to induce and I'm going to request an ultrasound before I decide on what is the best option for the baby. You ladies have any experience with doctors wanting to induce before 40 weeks for a small baby?

So as of 9am this morning I am 3cm dilated and 50% effaced... Doctor says I won't make it to my due date...

Really not enjoying having these super strong contractions while I'm trying to work... Plus I'm having sciatic nerve pain on the right side.... Oh the joys...

Omgosh... This morning my hubby started to rearrange our bedroom for when the baby comes... He told me it's what he was going to spend the day doing... He literally cleaned everything as he went... He told me to take it easy and just relax. He turned the bed so I have a huge spot for the baby's bassinet! He ran to the store to pick up stuff for the house and risers for the bed and he bought her two outfits and three onesies! Mind you he hasn't bought her anything until now! He said it was a surp...
