my best friend passed away when we were 17. honestly I still think about her write a bit.  time makes it better for sure and as long as you hold on to the memories they bring some joy too

Honestly, it just takes time. My grandma recently passed away and at first it was unbearable, but after her funeral, the more time that passes the easier it gets. Sometimes still there are moments I really miss her, but I'm not sad all the time like I used to be
