I’m really trying my hardest to help one of my friends but it’s so hard she doesn’t listen to my advice. She’s a stay at home mom and she has 3 kids under age 5. Her husband works full time 10-12 hour shifts 6 days a week and they depend solely on his income. She’s always telling me how bad they struggle and complaining about not having money and I send her part-time jobs she could get but she says childcare is the issue. I even found a daycare that would let her bring her two younger kids that she could work at and she said she could find a sitter for her older son who is 5. Does she listen? No I literally give her money every week and no I’m not obligated but I just feel like I have to help what can I do to tell her she needs to start working because it’s literally ridiculous I’m realizing I give her like $100 a week which isn’t a lot but once I add it up that’s $400 I could be using for myself or in my own savings
Will your Mom be in the delivery room? My mom made it sound like she was gonna be in the delivery room when I give birth, and quite frankly, I would just like it to be me and my fiancé. It's our first, and I want to share that special moment with just him. I don't want to hurt her feelings, and I know this is something she would really like to be a part of. So I feel bad telling her no.
I just absolutely love some women on here! Some woman wants to write on another women's post telling her she shouldn't be having sex at all in the beginning of pregnancy. I didn't know she was her doctor. Then she wants to tell me that the first trimester is only 1-9 weeks pregnant. And she lost her baby at 4 weeks pregnant due to sex. Like sweetie that's your period starting!
omg... I'm so depressed my child cries more than she doesnt..The only time she's not crying is when she's alsleep.. but she only sleeps 30 minutes each time. she won't sit in her carseat, her crib, pack n play , her swing, bouncer nothing!!! I have to hold ger 24/7 even when she's sleeping or else she will wake up. I'm tired I don't get any sleep nothing soothes her I don't even remember the last time I had enough time to bathe :'( I love her so much but this is so challenging
FTM problems... So I've made it pretty clear that I want to buy my daughter her fist Halloween costume. Her babysitter/nanny keeps saying she wanted to make her one. I told her yesterday that I wanted to find her something that my SO and I could dress up as a family. So I told her I am going to get it. She just text me and said 'not trying to step on your toes but I bought her two costumes'. She does this all the time. Anytime I want to do the "first" things with her she immediately does it. It's making me sad. Like I wish I could quit my job and be home with her.

😢. I'm sorry! what are you giving it to her for? maybe there's something else that can help . does she spit up a lot after feedings? I only ask because my daughter used to be like that also.

that happened to me a few times too, but gripe water was still a miracle for us. my daughter had bad colic lol. just got to get the hang of it, now she's almost 4 months and the skill comes in handy for other medicines like Tylenol.... my best tip is to use a bottle nipple instead of the dropper they give you. the dropper can come out in fast bursts causing choking. I had a tiny bottle designed for liquid medicine.

@mommybump2016, yes love. that's the reason I started giving it to her a week ago. she would spit up after every feeding and also she would get fussy because of gas:(

@mommytomia, definitely (: it's not the only liquid medicine you'll probably give her in the first year. so just have to see what method works best

Yes, I agree with the above...either find a new gas medicine that's all natural, or try with a bottle nip instead...that is too scary!!!!

I'm not saying this is why she does that. but with my daughter she would aspirate into her lungs every time she ate , I gave her medicine, or if she got too much saliva in her mouth from crying. the formula didn't make her choke as much just because it was thicker than the medicine but she would always choke , I hated it!! I kept going to the doctor and they finnaly did a test on her and saw it. she eventually got over it but what would happen is when she drank anything her throat wouldn't close the air way all the way witch caused her to choke. and she spit up so much all the time. (sorry so long) lol I just know not too many ppl know about that.

Have you talked to your doctor abt acid reflux Bc my son was like that and than he started take meds and was a heaven
