sc child support is a joke
I supposedly have been waiting on a default order for months now since hes never shown for court
I'm just about to say forget it
my sons father is a druggie with a bunch of kids so I'm sure i wont even get anything
its such a headache
they give you the run around for what
Virginia doesnt act like this with child support they do their job quick

I need some help/knowledge on child support and taxes?! Her father pays child support monthly.. My daughter lives with me, I haven't filed my taxes yet. I'm planning on doing it this weekend. My ex just texted me and said - "Hey my dad is doing my taxes for me and he needs ur social security number n your full name, cause I need to claim back some of the taxes from the child support. And he said u can still claim Mia it won't affect it he already asked the tax people. So if u can send it over that be great thanks." However, when I googled it...I found out child support is outside of taxes. I FEEL like he's lying to me to try to get my social so he can claim our daughter. Anyone know?!
Child support I'm definitely going to talk to a lawyer as soon as I get settled in Virginia, but does anyone know about how it works if the parents live in different states? Like if he lives in California and I live in Virginia, can I file in California? Especially if the baby was conceived in California.

girl VA too close to the government to fuck around with those type of issues lol nope. if u in md, dc, or va, they find their asses real quick. something about the southern states when it comes to cs. they just slow af smh my sister in TN and they supposedly was chasing her bd down for 5 whole ass years before they all of a sudden "found" him

yeah its crazy cuz my bd is too old to be like this and hes known around sc as the druggie party guy thats always on a girl @mango44 it's embarrassing I'm glad i don't live there
sometimes i do question if its worth it or should i just do without it

at least you don't have to pay back tanf to va. we do even though I got a job and completed their classes. they said we have to pau it back because it was child support when it wasn't. I never got my child support. its just va being money hungry. my husband has to pay this back as child support when we are together and our child lives with us. how the hell is that child support? its literally taking money from her.
