@lolabear2416, same with my husband's family they're all mexican and believe that I could have a miscarriage if I didn't wrap my belly during a full moon. different cultures bring different things to the table it's interesting really :)

this pregnancy has made me very emotional so I cry for everything even stupid stuff like movies lol. my grandma told me "if you cry a lot while you're pregnant, the baby is going to cry a lot when he's born." so every time I cry I think I hope my baby doesn't cry a lot lol.

my dads side is Mexican and I used to hear my grandma and aunts tell my older cousin not to go out side at night in moonlight because the moon gets jealous of pregnant women and she will cause trouble in utero and to wear a silver key as a necklace! Lol BTW I'm from the central valley. I lived in Patterson for like ten years and on and off in turlock 😊

My grandpas side of the family are all from Portugal and the best one I have heard is "a pregnant woman should not share food with anyone or she will not have enough milk" I use it against my man all the time just so I don't have to share. Mwuahahahaha 😏

reaching above your head will wrap the baby's cord around their neck, eating hot stuff will burn a hole in the baby or make them blind, having sex gives a baby birth marks on their face and therefore everyone will know you had sex while pregnant 😂, just ridiculous things, mostly from older women.

I hear this cause I have cats, but people say cats will steal a baby's breath, which will kill them.
