just kinda need to vent, I'm new here but I don't have anyone to turn to. my husband and I applied to be foster/adoption parents and went through the 30 hours of class and the 3 home studies. we got our denial letter yesterday and they denied us because of my 5 miscarriages, his infertility, our anxieties and my diabetes saying I'm not physically or mentally stable. if I wasnt physically or mentally stable why would I be working in the human service filed as a direct support provider? my husband is a pediatric nurse. just very frustrated and could use words of encouragement. our only other option we don't even have the money for and when we do, we will be old and retired and not capable of having kids. our doctor told us we could do ivf with donor sperm but it would cost us $30k and I'd have to lose 75lbs before she would touch me as she doesn't touch anyone over a 30 Bmi for reproduction help.
thank you for letting me vent.
I'm not sure, we live in iowa and I am tempted to contact legal aid and ask or the law clinic at the university. we have the 25 page document on everything she said about us, most is false information. so I hope we can do something about it, but sure if we want to deal with the state anymore. they are extremely messed up.
but they'll give idiots with too many kids already and only in it for the money.. can u get a lawyer?
Hi! I think that is so unjust. I cannot believe that they would hold those issues against you. I would not give up. My hubby and I have been going through IVF and so many times I wanted to give up, thinking that I was destined to be a mommy but I stayed strong and didn't back down. It's so hard but you have to have faith. You are in my prayers. All will work out! ❤️

I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
❤️Getting to know you❤️
Since our May group is growing strong and we have a lot of new mommies joining and sharing their bfp's...Thought it will be fun to get to know each other as we all share our pregnancy journey!
