My legs are still so swollen that even loose socks are leaving indents. I have had my feet up all day and even slept in a chair last night to keep them up.....Normal or should I worry??
I generally don't eat much salt. I have been eating a lot of yogurt and oranges. @amyarmenta3 I have also been eating a lot of veges so I feel like I have been doing less on the salt front than usual.
they say most of the time swelling come with eating alot of salty food so try not to eat out so much and stay off your feet so it can go down at least that's what my Dr. told me with my second pregnancie
unless you go number keep fighting that urge they aren't as specialized as your obgyn and they won't treat you, because everything typically needs to go through your obgyn unless it's life threatening
@jessica0830, I will keep a close eye on it. I'm trying to not do the ER...lol Its been a struggle to not go some days.
@aphrodite2014, I will definitely make an appoint next week. Hopefully it will just go away....lol though I won't hold my breath.
Just keep an eye on it and make sure I doesn't get worse. I'm a second time mom and in the beginning I went to the hospital ER twice in a month lol.
@newbee2016, that's their way of making sure that it's that bad... alot of us as first time mom's worry and of they make us wait it out sometimes it goes away.. keep an eye on it and go into the office next week
@jessica0830, Definitely is. I have never had swelling ever before so maybe I think it's worse than it is. lol
@newbee2016, it's fine! I would be worried too! Swelling is always scary!
@aphrodite2014, @jessica0830 @mommy2be424 @quansmom2016 They don't seem too excited. Just want me to watch it the rest of the weekend. Thank you all for all the advice. I am a worry wart, ftm everything scares me. 😩
I definitely agree with @jessica0830 at 23 weeks you shouldn't have that much swelling at all
@jessica0830, Thank you , That is kinda what I was worried about.I will call.
my feet swelled at 5 months and didn't ever go down. my doc said it was a part of pregnancy. they should be checking your bp at every appt and your urine for protein when your bp is high. i was high risk due to my bp n ended up delivering at 38w 1 day
Call your OB. Edema this early on and that bad isn't normal. Your blood pressure could be high
@quansmom2016, Even if the swelling never goes away? Sorry I'm a FTM just worried.
with this pregnancy the only reason I found out I was pregnant was because of my swollen feet
