My husband's great grandma passed away earlier this week. Her service is on Saturday. He looked at me crazy when I said I got a sitter. He doesn't understand why I don't want to take our children who are 4 and 1. Am I crazy for not wanting them to go?
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
i hope i have my baby this week...or in a couple of years...if he wants to come out...it's whatever he wants 😓

it would be disrespectful in my opinion to take them, not to mention if it's open Casket that could be emotionally damaging for them

Thank you. Our 4 year old is going through the ask alot of questions phase. I want to answer them all honestly but the middle of a funeral is not the place. My 1 yr old can't sit still and I feel like it would be disrespectful to be everyone if I was trying to keep him quite the whole timw

I didn't take my almost 3 year old to a funeral service. I think it's more respectful for everyone to not have small children at something like that, but that's my personal opinion.
