been having weird sharp pains today. it's also obvious that baby girl has dropped. I'm so worried she's gonna be a premie. hubby told me not to worry and that if she is early, she will be ok but I can't help it. she's still got to cook for at least 4-5 more weeks 😳😦

i feel you on that.. i have 5 weeks to go and i'm already having sharp pain as well and mostly at night

my niece and nephews, all 3 were about 4 weeks early and they turned out perfectly fine =)

Mine have been all day and within the last hour they got more frequent and sharper and I started getting them in my right hip too. they're almost gone now that I'm laying down, but it still has me worried because last week I had dilated to 1 cm and 50% effaced, without any contractions

It's normal for them to drop a couple weeks before you go into labor with your first. My L&D nurse told me if I have more than 6 contractions in an hour to come in. It's also really common to feel Braxton hicks! Good luck!

It sounds like it could just be her sitting on a nerve or your ligaments stretching. Contractions usually last 30 seconds or so and over time become closer together and more intense. how is your water intake? At 32 weeks I got dehydrated and it started contractions.

I dropped at 30. midwife said I should be fine and it's can still take weeks before labor hits
