I know what you mean my daughters are a sky steel blue and i my eyes change colors ( hazel,green, brown and yellow is the spectrum) an I could a swore I saw a dryed out grass green in my daughters eyes the other day but nope still steel blue

me and her dad have brown eyes , but some of her grandparents and aunt have blue eyes @tigeress

if its grandparents on both sides there is a possibility that the little one will be blue eyed. two recessives make a dominate gene that normally dominates any other gene in the mix. my hubby is blue eyed and my daddy is blue eyed so yeah >.< most definitely gonna have a bright blue eyed brunette daughter

typically the color they have at 6 months is what sticks. There can still be change from 6-12 but the color at 6 months gives you a good idea. Macie was born with blue eyes and now at 6 months there still a tiny bit blue but there's a big ring of brown. So hers will be brown or hazel. The rest of the blue will fade from 6-12 months.
