I'm a little sad :( mine & my husbands family & friends went all out for our 1st daughters baby shower. I'm 32 weeks now with my 2nd daughter & literally no one has even tried to make an effort to throw me 1 for her. I wouldn't be horribly bothered by it but I was counting on a shower for this baby because we don't have hardly anything for the new baby because we can't afford it. I feel like no one cares about this baby. 😢

It's probably because generally you get one baby shower and that's for your first baby. I'm sure everyone loves this baby just as much as they did the first! If you want to have another shower you could suggest it, they probably just assume since you already had one for your first that you don't want/need one for baby #2.
@carlyann00, if that was the case for my family and my husbands that would be ok 🙁 but we usually do it for every kid. Like my brother, he has 3 kids they did a shower for each one.
