We had 11 armed robberies last night in Rockford. 11, within like 3 hours. Crazy.

I feel the same way. I want to move to the country. I live in the surrounded area of Dallas. we have a high rate in everything. but I know there's bad people out there. no matter where you go anything can happen. you just have to watch your kids. make sure your kids know what's best. better if we could just care for them at home. but we don't always get to do exactly what we want. bills still have to be paid. kids need friends. make sure schools are checked out. and keep your eyes open to all surroundings. all you can do is do your best.

of course i have.. @happymommyof2. I'm only in the Southside Chicago suburbs and shits ugly over here too. i need to get out of Illinois all together.

the condition of this world was actually a huge reason as of why i didn't want to have my own children, but just own my own daycare instead lol. my town has a huge drug problem too. my town was so safe and peaceful when i was growing up.. its depressing to see what it has become over the years. we are moving, but not out of town just yet. i plan on raising a hippie child with a heart of gold, morals and a conscious that sticks.
