so u do plan on doing it if ur dr gives u the ok? my due date is feb 17 but he said I could get induced any time after the 10th which is 39 weeks. We chose to get induced the 13th to have him the 14th.

yea I've heard the same thing @happyliz .... everyone says it's best to let the baby come on his (in my case) own. But.... hopefully my OB will let me. :) when are you due?

I am, so just curious I'm a FTM and was reading about it but apparently everyone says it's a bad idea. My Dr said it was no problem at all so hopefully everything goes good.

if my Dr will let me I suppose @happyliz I go to see my OB tmrw so we'll see!

When I was induced with my first I went in at 6:00am slept until about 4:30 pm they had to tell me when I was having contrActions and had to tell me when I was ready to push. I literally felt nothing, and with my second one my water broke in bed and out hospital is 45 minutes from where we live so by the time I got there I was at a 6 and it hurt like hell until I got the epidural. Either way it's an amazing feeling, either choice is a good one ☺️

I hated being induced. My natural labor was better. My body did what it was supposed to when it was supposed to do it. Being induced forced my body to go against its natural state.

I talk to my OB about it and I have been induced every time other than my first child. I've had five kids and expecting another and I plan to be induced.

yes. my sister had been induced and the other one didn't. they come 28th much more force, pressure, and faster. I would only get induced for medical reasons or of I went over 42 weeks.... personally.

I felt better being induced.

I think that's false I have had both and they felt the same!
