Before u become pregnant think of this
Do I want to be uncomfortable as hell for 40-42 weeks?
Do I want to be in horrible pain for up to 14-16 hours even longer
Can I handle pushing a big ass head through my vagina
Can I handle this with no pain meds(sometimes u can't make it in time)
Do I want to go to the hospital 10x before I'm actually in labor.
Because inducing your labor at 32-37 weeks for your own selfish needs or getting a csection to do it the "easy" way is just plain selfish and FYI a csection is no easy way out. Maybe cause u Dont go thro labor pains but if you r getting a csection to cut out the most rewarding part because u quit frankly Dont want to be in pain your selfish as hell
I've had csection n vaginal
So Dont come for me
BEING INDUCED IS DANGEROUS TO YOU AND YOUR CHILD! LET BABY STAY IN AS LONG AS POSSIBLE IF BABY IS HEALTHY
THIS IS COMING FROM THE MOUTH OF A WOMEN WHO DELIVERED A SON AT 19WEEKS NOT BY CHOICE AND WHO HAS TO GET SHOTS ONCE A WEEK TO CARRY MY BABYS!
My first pregnancy I had him vaginally which I almost made it to 40 weeks before my water broke. But with my daughter my water broke at 38+6 days. I had to have an emergency csection because her life was at risk she was trying to come out face first she would of gotten stuck in my birth canal I am telling this story because if you need a csection for medical reasons or because you’ve had one before and can’t have a vaginal birth I get it. But I wouldn’t just choose a csection I honestly could of died I lost half my blood count i was bleeding internally inside my stomach I was stuck in the hospital for 5 days getting 6 bags of blood transfusions when I finally got home I ended up with an infection in my incision and ended up in the ER it was scary it was painful and the recovery was rough. Just let your babies come when they want too. UNLESS it is for medical reasons that you need to be induced or have a csection.
Oh yes I had 9 vaginally and 2 csection .my. Csection almost killed me from placenta accreta I had a vaginal w my son malik who passed and I almost died to from placenta accreta miss diagnosed!
My oldest was induced at 41 weeks. She was comfy. She didn't want to come 😂
But they didn't want to wait any longer due to risk of pooping in there and getting too big
My youngest came slightly on her own at 38 weeks.
I was considered "helped labor" and ended up needing the pitocin again 🤦
if i knew my son would be less than 5 lbs and need nicu time after a c-section at 39 weeks (medically suggested - not completely necessary) i would have suffered through my kidney infection while pregnant unless it was a last resort. i wish my doctor hadn’t made birth seem like something that needed to happen right away when i may have made it to my due date or further without any complications.
@elaineqtz but not if he wasn't growing he can grow better out of womb. Did they Swy if your placenta was abnormal
@elaineqtz my placenta wasn't providing my baby's good enough I was 42 weeks and he was only the size of a 32 weeks
my placenta was fine, his growth rate seemed fine on ultrasounds, but he came out smaller than their measurements. they’re not sure if it was some other type of intrauterine growth restriction, something genetic, or something else.
Like i say everytime. The people that say that have never had a preemie in the NICU. if they did they wouldn't be wishing to have their baby before it was ready.
I agree, I even asked back when I was pregnant why so many girls on this app where being induced 36-38 weeks just bc I was new mom and saw it happening left and right.
I gave birth at 37 weeks But I had to have pitocin for a few days, For medical reasons. They where preparing for a C-section in the early morning and he finally came.
@pottmouthed_stirredup, that’s so crazy and gotta be extremely hard. and to imagine pple wanna have their children earlier is beyond me. Idk if there’s lack of knowledge for some but I think it’s purely ugliness if their doing it for selfish reasons. so ugly of their character
@pottmouthed_stirredup that's a little to early damn
Getting induced by choice when there’s no medical reason before 40 weeks is selfish. Because you don’t want worry about when you’ll go into labor or so you can have your doctor be there or even because you’re tired of being pregnant. It’s ridiculous. My induction for pre e was terrible. 26 hours. And I was terrified to be told I needed a c section. It is NOT the easy way out. They cut you open 😱 ya, no thanks.
@bearsbeetsbattlestargalactica I had good pregnancys till I lost my son and had a placenta accreta and almost died after that they was horrible pregnancy n labors and delivery's but I knew what I was getting myself into I still had 4, when I got uncomfortable I just kept thinking bout how I'm happy to carry a baby full term after loosing my son at 19 weeks! I even went 42 weeks with my 1 year old
@bearsbeetsbattlestargalactica thank u. But trust me some days I'm not very strong
I will be getting a csection at 39 weeks for medical reasons
@pottmouthed_stirredup, yes I just have had my last two kids at 39 weeks and this one as well
@pottmouthed_stirredup, nothing wrong tho hopefully it stays that way
Some hospitals give no choice but to induce at a certain amount of weeks like my hospitals wont let anyone go past 41 weeks so u have to be induced at 41 weeks because ur due date can be behind or ahead
@flamingfiremom that,is insane & dangerous! Smh
@pottmouthed_stirredup, yeah and then they wonder why people have still borns smfh
Who in their right mind would WANT a Caesar or induction? I was induced at 38 weeks for high-risk and GD. I was in labour for 36 hours. I wouldn't dilate It was a fucking nightmare.
I agree 100% unless the baby’s in danger or mom - I’m very not into inducing and thank gd i said no to it even tho i wanted it this time !
No one should try to self induce until they hit 40 weeks. Your doctor should only induce you for medically necessary reasons. I had my youngest 8 days late and as uncomfortable as it was and painful (could barely walk) I would take being over due over having a premie ANY day.
I went 2 weeks!!!! I know how anxious it can be and your just wanna check out but what was most important is I didn't bury another baby
When I had to have a csectipn at 36 weeks I was scared shirtless that she would be unhealthy and I had to leave hospital without tables turned I almost died and I didn't get to meet her for 2 days nurses didn't even know her name cause I couldn't keep conscious long enough to tell them!
I was to be induced at 38 weeks for gestational diabetes. I delivered a 9lb baby. Some women have no choice.
I know.I specifically say when u induce for yourself not for medical reasons. I've had to be induce also for medical reasons
My doctor wanted to induce me with my first because I had low fluid, my son measured 4ish weeks behind, and I had been monitored for preeclampsia. I told him to fuck off until I hit 40 weeks exactly. I was induced on my due date and things were okay. Wasn’t fun but it worked.
With my second I wanted to go right to 40 weeks again but instead I had an emergency c section at 29 weeks. As someone who has had a vaginal delivery and a c section I can say both suck, but it definitely sucks more having a premature baby. It wasn’t my choice though.
Yes I agree.I had a premature baby at 36 weeks she was healthy I had a baby at 38 weeks she was deadly sick!
I was induced for high blood pressure, ended up developing pre e anyways ... ended in a c section. Noooot fun. Especially being my first !
My first daughter came naturally at 35+2, I was put on pitocin but didn't feel anything til the evening when I was definitely in active labor. I was in active labor for 2 and a half hours before she came out. No NICU but she did have to stay in the pediatric ward in the hospital for a week and a half and we were able to go home. Now she's a happy and healthy toddler
@armywife72515 oh OK yeah that's scary
@pottmouthed_stirredup yeah it was but it turned out ok in the end
@pottmouthed_stirredup I had the same stuff my 1st son came naturally broke everything naturally and they still gave me pitocin my contractions were not strong so nothing wrong but he came out healthy as ever
Where are people getting the info that C sections are the easiest way and just as optional as asking (with no real reason)?
I had a vaginal birth (with no drug and sure it was painful) with my dd but I did have a C Section when I had a uterine fibroid a few years back and the pain was grueling and healing took about 6 weeks+. Getting sliced across your abdomen is not pleasant.
No thanks!
Yes the recovery for me was shitty! But I think a lot of women think its "easier" because it cuts out false alarms to the hospital or the hours of labor and all of that. But the healing is shittyyyy
@pottmouthed_stirredup, yeah! Remember coughing?
I cried every time I coughed or sneezed. Cried for minutes from the pain. Sleeping on a recliner for about a month because laying flat felt like your incision would peel open. I had to wear a waist band the first week because I felt like my guts would pour out while walking🤧

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

the amount of women who are clueless about their own anatomy is so sad and shocking. a lot of the women are older than me and have more children then I do 😳
now I understand that everyone has their own opinion on the topic and grown adults can do whatever they want with their bodies but to deny facts and make up false statements about your own anatomy when it comes to your unborn child is just so disappointing.
