Question for mama's of lil ones with excema.... So I am able to clear up the spots but I've been reading on it and it says that sometimes the child is allergic to something in the formula. So I am trying them on the soy formula. Have any of you done this and seen better results? I'm trying to find what is causing the eczema and wanted to know what other mommas did. Any input is greatly appreciated!

my little monkey didn't have eczema but I do really really bad.. it was stuff in the house that set me off.. dust, cleaning supplies even... I found that coconut oil and breast milk really help and milk baths help a ton. moisture is so key lol

@gypsy.soul2, okie dokie, I have been using coconut oil a couple times a day (love that stuff) I also read that aloe helps so I am starting to use aloe as well. I use fragrance free everything, and I keep the house really clean except the toys everywhere lol! but I will definitely try milk baths! do you have a problem with pet dander? I read it can make it worse and their "dad" just got a dog and smokes. he doesn't see them but 1 hr every 2 weeks but still if that lil bit of time makes it worse I'll tell him that it's making it worse.

we do have pet dander bc we have a few animals lol. Aveeno works really well @twinmamma2015

ok @gypsy.soul2 I will also try that. I know it can take a couple of weeks to clear it up. I'm hoping that changing their formula will help as well. Wish I could have breastfeed but it was very hard to nurse twins 😭😭

girl don't ever feel bad for not accomplishing breastfeeding ! never that. my eczema never went away, it just had its moments.. like in cold weather I'm a mess but in summer I'm great bc the sun does some great wonders. I know eczema runs in my gene pool too so I was kinda doomed. make sure there dad is keeping smoke away from them and that the dog doesn't have fleas bc flea bites can look a lot like eczema too doll @twinmamma2015

@gypsy.soul2, ahhh that's good to know. they must have gotten it from his side cuz I've never had anything like this and so I'm like flipping out on how to help! and I tell him he can't smoke if he's gonna come see them, but I didn't give the flea thing a though! he's supposed to come over tomorrow (haven't heard from him still so I dunno) but if he does I'll let him know. And I know I shouldn't feel bad I had my heart set on breastfeeding, but knew it was a challenge. they did get the first 5 weeks of what I could give them, but still wish I coulda done more. just next time I'll know a lil more what to expect!
