How many of you got the tests for downs and things like that? My sister didn't have it with her all 3 of her boys.. my cousin had it with 2 of her 3 kids and the 2 she had it for tested that they'd have downsyndrome, but they don't. I feel like it's not accurate enough and I don't want to do it because there is no sense in doing it and being worried and stressed for 20 weeks and the baby being fine. Also, it doesn't matter to me because regardless I will love my child with everything in me. ♡ Are you going to do it, or did you?

I know a girl I went to school with that took the test, test came bak negative and her baby has Down syndrome. I don't think it's that accurate either apparently.

I don't think so either that'd why I don't want to take it. @answeredprayer16 as I said it doesn't matter either way we will love our baby sooo much!!!

it didn't matter to us and there was nothing we could do to change it, so we never did

I don't think the test is positive and negative. It's based off numbers and how high or low your chances are

@kirklandj, right but they tell you yes or no if you're baby will have it based off those numbers. they told my cousin both of her children would have it and to prepare to raise a baby with downs and she was so stressed making sure she had everything down pat. her kids were not born with downs nor any other issues that may have impaired their growth or learning rate.

I got it done with all of my boys it's all come back negative but I did it mostly so I could educate myself if there was a problem. I wouldn't stress myself out but I did want to make sure I gave myself the opportunity to educate myself on whatever came back on the test so I wouldn't be caught off guard and could provide the best care my baby needed

I did, simply because I wanted to be prepared. If my children did, I couldn't care less. But if they had something I could prepare for, research, and learn more about ahead of time to make their lives easier/better I would. I know a two people that didn't get the test, and their babies did have down syndrome. While that isn't the worst thing in the world, they were hit with it all at once the day they gave birth, and that's supposed to be a super happy moment not one where you get bombarded with all this news. So to us, we wanted to be aware ahead of time!

I did it. It doesn't tell you it's positive it just says you basically are showing the risk factors for it. I also go the NT ultrasound. Glad I did it all because now I can relax more.

there's a better chance of miscarriage I didn't get one and everything seems to be fine
