I Really Need Some Help. Saturday the 16th I Fainted And Went to Hospital And Found Out I Was Pregnant. I'm Only 17 , I'm About To Graduate HS. My Boyfriend Is ExtremelyHappy And Beyond Elated, I Mean I'm Happy. But I'm Terrified. I Have My First Appt. Tomorrow. But I Wanted To Get An App With A Forum To Get A Non-Medical , But NOT JUDGEMENTAL Response. Any Suggestions To Start Me Off , Anything I Need To Do , Buy , Or Anything you Wish To Tell Me Is Greatly Appreciated 😆 I Want To Have Prior Knowledge Before I Go.

its hardto manage cravings and nausea at the same time but its not all bad! just make sure your small meals include what your craving or you will freak out wanting something random like hot wings knowing itll be hard to eat it. youll be like "is it worth the throwing up? yes, yes it is" lmao
so What about Like The Cravings And Aversions ? @rgaine Lol Is something I'm Just Gonna Have to deal with ? because All I've Been Doing is Eating and Being Nauseated RIGHT After.
@jenyah310, Glad to help. Also, if you get nauseated try eating small meals every few hours vs. 3 big meals. Heartburn is sometimes awful when pregnant. And when you talk to the doctors always ask for samples of meds to try them free first. And take prenatal vitamins at night for less nausea! Lastly. look at Babyli.st. for my personal favorite way to register for baby. It allows you to connect registries from Target, Babies r us but also add things from places like etsy, coupons for babysitting, etc etc.
At your first appt. you may not have an ultrasound yet so don't get discouraged. They usually do a Pap smear, blood tests, pee in a cup, and they will ask lots of questions including last period/possible conception dates. You may get to hear your baby if the heartbeat is detectable. Study up and you'll feel more prepared by the time baby is here. The library has lots of books about pregnancy, breastfeeding, etc etc usually. Buy used online- baby doesn't need new stuff for the most part. Buy a belly band and you can wear your own clothes longer. Babies r us has some free 1 he classes you can sign up for.

the biggest thing is to take care of yourself..don't let anyone's negative judgement get to you. It will get tough I'm 28 and still get judged. just say your prayers and take your prenatal until you get under a doc if you don't have one yet! I'm praying for you and if you want to know anything in particular or just need to vent feel free to message me! #judgementfree

stay focused on school and graduating! it's the best thing for your baby. the only other advice I have is sucking on mints and hard candies helped with my nausea in my first trimester (:

Birth Plan Rant
I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?
My doctor also recommended me getting the flu shot while pregnant ? I'm not sure if I want to or if i should ? It's all scary to me !! What do you ladies think ? Did you get the flu shot while pregnant ? Are there any risks? Or should I wait ? I'm so scared of taking anything while pregnant , much less getting this shot.. He said it isn't mandatory , just recommended.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

My doctor is trying to induce me before 40 weeks because she's going to be off on my due date and says my placenta is starting to look old. How do I get labor started?? I don't want to be induced for no reason and I'm thinking I won't have a choice. Please help. What do I do to get things going?

I'm having my first child and I told my fiancé that I want him and my mom who's my best friend in the room with me when I deliver. My fiancé basically thinks it's childish for me to want my mom there for her first grandchild's birth.... he said he's never known anyone to have their parents in the room, he thinks it should just be him and I. But I've never known anyone to NOT want their mom there. Am I wrong for wanti...
