I am a thicker girl, I am 5"9 1/2 and the last time I went to the doctor I weighed 239 pounds . I have always had a little tummy , but when will I start showing ? I am currently 17 weeks today , and I honestly can't tell if I'm just fat or ... I'm starting to get a baby bump. ( I'll insert a picture of my pre baby body.)
@lacortney, I'm glad I can relate to someone , and I know how you feel! but you might as well embrace it because your weight will only go up from here , just map out a plan for after your baby is born to get your groove back . I've always been a big girl , but I am going to take control of my body.
oh girl I was way out of shape when I started but you will have to just start at a healthy pace that works for you and a protien shake is this stuff its powder you can get at the store that you put into water and drink it. it has lost of protien in it witch is very good for your body. and it is hard I'm not going to lie because I love sweets and Italian food but I want to be around for a long time with my baby so I will do whatever it takes to be healthy . u can do it just don't give up. and don't focus so much on that number on the scale focus on the way you feel when you start working out and that weight will fall off. find like a dress you love that you want to fit in and let that be your goal not the number on the scale :)
@isabellasmommy2015, not to sound like a dumby but what exactly is a protein shake ? and what do they do? that sounds pretty easy , water healthy eating salads .... then the gym part lol can I just take a nap instead jk lol that's going to be hard because I am so out of shape.
I don't mind at all I don't drink anything but water except for protein shakes and I eat a low carb high protein diet but I know its hard to prepare meals when you have a newborn so when I couldn't I would eat a salad and fits have lots of sugars in them so they are not that good for losing weight and I go to the gym three times a week.
@isabellasmommy2015, Now I don't feel so bad , because I'm already insecure about my body and the thought of gaining 30 pounds makes me want to cry to be honest . How did you loose 50 pounds if you don't mind me asking.
@adelinesmommy, 25 weeks ! that's crazy , she will be here before you know it . When you were in your earlier weeks did it feel like it was taking forever to get further along? I feel like the weeks are dragging out lol . You know I will do that !
before I got prego I was 5.6 and I weighed 265 I gained 18 lbs mostly fluid at the end I started showing at. 15 weeks but since having her I have lost 50 lbs don't be freaked out by the weight gain you can lose it :)
oh lord its so much bigger now. lol. it felt like she was stuck out there over night. I'm 25 weeks and one day today and there are times I can't believe I'm this big. and you could always start taking weekly bump pics now. @princess_klg96
@adelinesmommy, Omg! that's a huge difference. At 11 weeks your tummy is sticking out and it looks firm and round . I wish I would have taken pictures of my stomach week to week .
it just depends on your body and my first son I didn't show until I was 29 weeks everyone thought I gained a few extra pounds over the holidays lol but my second son I'm pregnant with I started showing at 14 weeks
@babychloe, That's not long at all! Give yourself a break , your not like some people I know 10 years later blaming there weight on have a baby .... 10 years ago lol. I see how that could be easy . To be honest fast food is my weakness because I can be lazy . But that's a great start! You will see a huge difference soon because you cut out the soda which has tons of sugar in it! If your a snacker , instead of candy and chips look for healthier options ... like I love yogurt and fruit . Boom already better and its so good . Just look for things that fit your taste and I've heard about breastfeeding being exhausting. I know I'll be drained with a newborn but I'm going to have to do something like walk or something ... because this has been a struggle all my life and I am taking control !
alittle over 2 months now... its alot easier said than done. cause i know for me i wanted to do that. but thwn i was exhausted all the time so id buy snacks and only eat snacks. and soda and iced teas. but thats great. keep strong. cause i just gave up and keep telling myself that im gonna do it then i dont lol. but i did give up soda and iced tea and chips and candys and stuff, so far thats going good. im just so tired all the time. especially if you are gonna breastfeed. itll help you lose weight but it is exhausting.
@babychloe, I feel you on that one . I've always been a bigger girl and it's hard the though of gaining more weight since I have body issues . How long has it been since you have had your baby ? I plan on eating healthier and exercising a couple months after I have the baby . I'm getting a plan together . Don't give up!
ive always been big. i was 200 at the start. lost 10 the first few weeks. then ended with 230. now im over that. finding it hard to lose the weight lol..
@babychloe, @mommi321 If you all don't mind me asking what was your body type before getting pregnant ? So basically it just depends on each pregnancy .... I'm just excited to start rocking the bump 😂😂😂
