anyone have any advice for putting a baby to sleep without rocking them or giving them a bottle? I don't want my little one to have to depend on rocking to sleep every night and I've gotten into a bad habit with the bottle in the crib. (I know over time it causes tooth decay so I need to find another option asap) not a huge fan of the cry it out method but would love to hear how some other mommas get their kiddos to sleep!!

I've always given my son a bottle in bed but I stay up until he's asleep and then take it away.

I just lay my son down & give him a pacifier & leave him alone. sometimes he put the paci in his mouth, sometimes he doesn't. I leave it up to him!

I put literally 3 pacis in his bed just in case. A lullaby bear that plays music till he sleeps (which really helps). Eventually my son grew out of waking up for a bottle thru the night. Oh and a nice hefty dinner. Full belly.

great ideas! i will definitely try leaving pacis in the crib for her and making sure she goes to bed with a full tummy!!
