I used the Playtex with Drop Ins for our daughter and am planning to use them with this baby. They were the only bottles we could use for our daughter because she had tummy troubles and I like that they have 4 oz and 8 oz bottles with slow, medium, and fast flow nipples.

I will be using Playtex with the drop in bags with their natural nipple to help the transition for bottle to nipple easy and since I to will be breastfeeding but also want the dad to be able to feed our princess and bond with her... My doctor actually recommend them to me as she just had a baby and is using them while she can't breastfeed

I seen online can't remember what store that tomme tippie makes bottles now and breastmilk storage bags that you put right in the bottle! I might get them to try out not sure yet. Has anyone tried them before?

I am trying the NUK kind because they were well liked at the day care. With my son i used dr. Brown and i hated how much of a pain they are to clean

The ones I used were called Lansinoh mOmma feeding bottles. They are round like a breast vs typical bottles., they literally look like breast. Only bottle my daughter would take.

Latch by munchkin and tommee tipper were my 2 top. Dr brown had too many pieces and easily can get mold. Munchkin I found my son to have liked the best

I think my daughter fed from a bottle maybe a handful of times ever, mainly because I was too lazy to pump and my boobs needed the break. But she loved Tommy Tippee brand.

So I think I will be deleting that expensive bottle set from my registry! Haha... I'll maybe add two or 3 different single bottles and see how it will go ! Thanks ladies ❤️

Ive had 3 babies before this one and every single one of them liked different bottles. Don't spend all your money on one brand, your baby might hate the one you choose.

Our lactation consultant said none are "closer to breast" it's whatever your baby will drink from. So that being said I'd pick 2 or 3 with different nipples and go from there. My little guy didn't care what type of nipple when we started but by a month old had a preference.

Our son loved Tommee Tippees and there didn't seem to be any nipple confusion between breast and bottle. He also didn't have issues with taking in excess air with them as well.

Nuk is the only one my son took to and avent later. The avent choked him when he was a newborn.

My son loved the mam bottles.

I've heard Avent is great for babies who are breast fed but also a big tip of advice I keep getting is to just buy one of a few different types because each baby is different and will decide what they like.

Just buy one bottle. Baby decides which bottle they want when they're born. Don't be like me with tons of expensive bottles baby never used except the one from dollar store ??

Each baby is different. But only single bottles until baby gets here because the ones you think they will hate will be the favorite and they won't touch the ones you think they will love. Neither one of my girls ever took a bottle, we tried 10 types before just be exclusively.

And same for pacifiers! We went crazy buying pacifiers and he wouldnt even take them... If you want to try them, pick one type and only get one pack until you get a chance to try them.

It really depends on what your baby will take. All babies are differnt! You may have to try several ones before you find one that works. I bought an entire set of playtex bottles for my son before he was born and he HATED them! He couldnt latch on to them all all because they were so soft. Point is, dont buy a whole set yet! When you make your registry, certain places will give you a goody bag and sometimes they have sample bottles. We got several Avent and MAM samples. My son hated the Avent bottles, but loved the MAM bottles! We ended up buying a while set of MAM. If there is a brand you'd like to try, buy the smallest pack you can just to try them. Once you find one that your baby likes, buy an entire set.

My last baby liked the Medela Calma nipple

Honestly in my experience it all depends on baby. Each prefers something different especially if your breastfeeding. Its all going to be trial and error. You might get the best bottle known to moms and your baby might prefer the cheapie bottles.

I used avent natural bottles with my daughter and she had no issues between bottles and nursing. The wider opening made it easy to pour milk in from storage bags and there weren't any extra pieces to wash

Playtex is also supposed to help with gas and colic. You push all the air out of the drop ins which prevents the baby from swallowing any air, they're made to mimic the breast. I've heard that Dr. Browns bottles have little pieces to wash, and with playtex you only have to wash the nipples since you just throw out the dropin afterwards.

I used Dr Browns. My daughter had a lot of problems with gas. And they worked great!

I hear a lot of good things about playtex bottles with dropins. The only complaint I see from other people online is the cost of drop-ins, but if you're mainly breastfeeding you won't have to buy as many. Idk. I think it's worth it. If you need around 200-300 drop ins a month for formula feeding, that's only about $12-18 a month, which really doesn't seem like much to me. I plan on doing formula this time around, but my daughter was breastfed.

Following.. planning to pump during the day and breastfeed at night.

Seems so convenient to put baby on breast at night while in bed.

But i want to use a bottle when we go places.
