My birth story: Friday the Thirteenth
I woke up at 5:30 a.m as I always do because I enjoy watching my DH get ready for work and I make sure that he makes it to work safely. We began texting after he left the house and he reminded me that it was November 13th -- Friday the 13th. I responded, "It's just another day to me..." Boy was I wrong. I had a regular pregnancy check up at 9 that morning. I got dressed and went to my appointment. I dragged my mother and grandmother along with me. A horrible decision. I made it to the doctor's office, packed with women, I couldn't find a seat to sit in, but there was a woman there who wasn't pregnant. I didn't say anything, I'm very passive, but the sign in the waiting area says, "Seating for patients only." My grandmother found it very rude that I was standing while this woman was sitting so she asked her to move. The lady was an older Hispanic lady, about the same age as my grandmother, maybe older and she was not having it. The two began to argue and I was caught in the middle of it. What happened next is what really sparked my labor and delivery. The woman decided to tell my grandmother to shut up!!!!!!!! That's all that she had to say, my grandmother jumped up and got in the woman's face... in the middle of all of the commotion, they call me to come back. "Kiana Roberson" I walk back and they check my blood pressure 190/70. Okay maybe it didn't read well. Again. 190/70 ish. The nurse asks, "Is that your mother out there?" I was so embarrassed, I just shook my head and told her that it was my grandmother. She said, "Don't let them get you worked up." She checked my BP one last time, still way too high. She sent me back to my OB and he instructed me to go straight to the hospital where I would deliver my Kai Pie. My due date was actually December 4th, 2015. Here I was waiting to see if I would have my baby 3 week prior. I was scared, I didn't have preeclampsia during my entire pregnancy but this day it just sprang up on me. I waited while they continued to check my BP, which was still high, and they hit me with the news that I would be induced. I spent all day in triage ( which isnt a bad room ) waiting for them to move me to the L&D floor. At 6 p.m Saturday the 14th I was given Pitocin, and the contractions kicked in. I asked for the Epidural at midnight. I was five cms dilated. I slept the rest of the morning until 8:35 a.m when I told my doctor, "I'm about to have the baby." He checked my cervix and I was indeed 10cm. I started pushing immediately and on November 15th, 2015 at 8:42 a.m, I gave birth to a 4 pound little one, Kai Brielle Hall. Mommy and Daddys first little angel. The room was filled with love. My eyes filled with tears. She was perfect. Everything was perfect.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
the amount of women who are clueless about their own anatomy is so sad and shocking. a lot of the women are older than me and have more children then I do 😳
now I understand that everyone has their own opinion on the topic and grown adults can do whatever they want with their bodies but to deny facts and make up false statements about your own anatomy when it comes to your unborn child is just so disappointing.

Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?
