I am so sick of seeing women say they hope their babies come early!! I had a preemie an it is by far the hardest thing ever to see your extremely little baby hooked up to machines and not being able to hold him/her or help him/her! My son was 34 weeks so even a few weeks can make a giant difference! It's not about your comfort! It will end soon! It's about the health of your baby and being able to take that baby home when you do! And hold that baby after you deliver it!! Stop being so selfish!!! End of rant!

I understand after being pregnant for a while, you just wanna get it over with believe me lol my first girl didn't come until I was 42 weeks! But even as miserable as I was I still wanted to make it to at least 39 weeks so I could be sure she was fully grown. I'd rather suffer it out a few more weeks and know my baby is healthy rather than her suffer because I didn't feel like carrying her anymore. Smh. Plus after baby is born you tend to miss those little kicks :)

@momma312, exactly!! It's only a few weeks that can change the outcome so much!

I have a 29 weeker. You bet your ass I've flipped out in some people wanting their baby early. I have no problem showing pictures of how small my son came out and the heartbreak I felt looking at my tiny baby hooked up to monitors galore.

I agree, my sister had hers at 35 weeks...water broke and even tho my niece was 8 pounds...sister is diabetic...my niece spend a few weeks in the nicu...in a different city then my sister's. babys lungs just needed more time so yes a couple weeks can be a huge difference. I had mine at 38 and a half by c section because she failed a non stress test and with me being diabetic and was going to be induced 3 days later they induced me early. I was so uncomfortable and back hurt so bad I couldn't walk but I wanted to carry my baby for as long as I could.

@shandy69, right!?!? I'm suffering every single week trying to keep this one in! With injections, tests and stopping labor! It's just breaks my heart to see a mother that can carry to full term trying to deliver early! I would kill to be able to carry my babies full term!!

Thank you!!! My thoughts every time I read them. My son had to be induced at 37 weeks and still had to be in nicu for 8 days. It was awful. It is not worth missing out on those precious first moments, not being able to hold and bond with your baby. The last few weeks can change everything when it comes to their lung readiness.

omgggg I thought it was just me! I've had 2 and only 1 survived. I don't think they understand the severity of what they are asking!
