I don’t understand why everyone thinks it’s okay to weigh in and give an UNWANTED opinion of the baby to be’s name. News flash! The baby isn’t coming out of YOUR VAGINA. So stfu 🤬

I named my daughter Ava. And everyone intervened with what ti name her they told me thats an old name. My sister named my nephew Elias which is a Spanish name. It's different, but I love it. Like you said it's coming out of your vagina. You have the rights to name the baby what you please. ❤
I mean if you want other people’s opinion. But my family just kept giving me negative opinions I didn’t ask for..
Just be sure to cut there ass out when u have the baby so u don’t have to deal with that stress of ignorance at the hospital
Way I see it if it's yours name it what you want. Who cares about everyone else and what they think.
People are so rude & don't know how to follow the golden rule! I LOVE the name, don't even worry about it! No matter what the subject everyone has to tell you what they think you should do as a parent. You'll never be able to do anything right according to other people's standards. They be like..."Omg I can't believe you're not breastfeeding.", "How dare she breastfeed in public, that's so gross.", "Isn't he too old to be breastfeeding? When are you going to give him some real food?", "Discipline your child, they need a good spanking.", "I can't believe you spank your child, that's so terrible.", "How can you poison your child with vaccinations?", "You don't vaccinate your child? That's so irresponsible!". The list goes on and on and on. Like you said, that baby isn't coming out of their vagina, therefore their opinion doesn't matter. If I don't like a name I keep my mouth shut. 🤷♀️ Grow some thick skin, stand up for yourself & let it roll off your back. If they can't be respectful show them the door.
I used to wonder why some people were so secretive about their baby name. Now I know why.
As long as its not Hitler, Satan, @sshole, or Lucifer, my lips are sealed 😂.
I named my daughter Willow and everyone said they would call her "willy" and honestly I think you could take any name and twist it if you wanted too so I really wouldn't worry about it.
When I told my family about naming my son Keenan they tried stopping me from doing it saying it sounds like Kermit. I still named him Keenan and he loves his name

Kids are a lot more brutal than making fun of names these days tbh. It's really not a bad name at all or something to make fun of. People may see it and call him Eli

just don't talk to them about it because it's not a debate and you know how they'll be with it. I got a million "oh you still have time to think of a different name" "are you sure?" "thats a boy's name though" Didn't change our minds🤷🏽♀️ Even the old lady receptionist at the hospital had to throw her two cents in🙄
that’s such BS. I wish people would just accept the name we choose for our children. It’s hard to talk to my family sometimes. They just tease and tease and it sucks because I’m over it. But when I get mad then they tease over how “sensitive” I am.
