That's not quite what I said. As I repeatedly said I don't condone or support this behavior​, but I am realistic about what world we live in. I don't pretend I live in a fairy tale, I don't expect others to pretend as such either.. The kid has two choices with stuff like this- get thicker skin, or let the stuff (that probably isn't going to stop) fück him up. That isn't placing blame on him. And pointing out that this is the life his dad chose for him isn't blaming his dad either, it is just stating the facts. This is part of life. Should it be, absolutely not. Can we change that, also no..so what's the point of letting my butt cheeks flap in the wind over it like you are?

Osie- It being Kathy really doesn't matter it's the image. I wouldn't want my child too see a bloody image of my head even if Santa clause was holding it. It's the image itself. This is a child have a heart! No chid should have to see that image. I wouldn't like seeing it of my parents and I'm 27.

I think if I saw a photo like this as a child I would automatically assume it was real and be terrified. I can't believe she would take a photo like this.

I think it looks exactly like Donald Trump. It's a horrible image for any child of any age to see of their parent. Why does anyone even think this is funny? It's someones life he is someones dad, husband and son. It's pathetic.

I don't even understand how someone could even hold that head up and not feel something in their soul telling them how evil that is. Poor boy. Poor Melania. I can only imagine how much sorrow she must feel. I don't know what I'd do if my children saw an image of their father like this.

My almost 11 year old just stopped believing in Santa. It's not that far fetched to think this little boy thought the image was real. He's still a child.

I'm no fan of the Trumps, but I feel for this poor boy. Not only for this distasteful image but also for every negative and humiliating things he must hear about his dad.

I saw the pic without text & not on the tv so no sound. I could tell exactly who it was supposed to be.

I thought about this for a bit. If Kathy didn't say it was Trump's head, I never would have guess who it was. It looks nothing like him. But as soon as Trump's name was next to the mask, I tried to see him and I saw similarities. It's just a gross image. I never liked bloody, horror movies, so this image is just disgusting to me. I believe in freedom of speech, even as an anti-Trump person, but this is poor taste.?

Trump can be what he is but I know I would not want my 11 year old seeing an image of me like that, I'm looking at it from a parents point of view. Images like that can be traumatizing for a child whether ppl like to admit it or not.

It's pathetic that we do this to our president.. whether you like trump or not, he is our president. We need to stand together as a country not crap on our own president for the whole world to see. To me that just shows people that hate the US that there is even more reason to attack or harm us because we don't like our own president.

I am a libertarian so I didn't vote for Obama, nor did I vote for trump. However, while both hold office they are my president. While I might not agree with decisions they make, I'd never threaten either one of them. Her stunt was ridiculous and in very poor taste, not to mention illegal depending on how you take this "threat".

You also have to take into account that this kid lives in a world where he knows how big of a target his dad is and even if he didn't think it's real, it's still as image of his dad's bloody head.

The fact that this child is being used to stir up anything is so sad. Whether he believed it, didn't believe it, or the whole thing is a publicity stunt. It's sad. He's a child. An 11 year old boy that is being shaped by these experiences. I don't care who his parents are. He doesn't deserve this, and the fact that people milk this is disturbing.

Who tf cares if he thought it was real or not! That's not even the point. For me it's even worse if he thought it was fake. It would just mean that he is very aware of how hated his father is and has to live in fear that this could one day be a reality.

No matter how you feel about Trump (I'm not a fan), this was an awful stunt. Even if his son thought this was real for even a second, it was 1 second too long.

We have the TV on with the sound muted sometimes. If he saw the image without sound I can see why he would be upset.

I really don't want to be that person, but I find it hard to believe that a 11 year thought it was real. I watched it come on the news twice and it explained the story about the picture both times. Don't get me wrong, she's an idiot for the picture. But the tv didn't just show the picture and not say a word. ?‍♀️

I'm not reading the article as I've managed to mostly avoid the images but Oh my gosh how awful that he saw it & had to think that!!!!!!
