Ok so for the mommies that are having boys or that already have boys ,are you guys planning to circumcise or did you circumcise? Why or why not? (:
@twinmamma2015, tw. I answered a question and stated my basis for my.opinion. I'm sorry it didn't come out right. I'm not writing a novel about why I feel the way I do. Grow up.
I'm having a boy and my husband and I plan on having him circumcised, my husband is and we both find no reason not to. I would personally rather me and my son while he is growing up to not have even the risk of him getting infections because they can be difficult to clean while they are growing up as well. In my opinion I think it would be best to so you or him or his future wife when older does not have to deal with the issues.
@jana.bear, so your business degree gives you a license to practice medicine?
@jana.bear, well you weren't very clear on what you said, you said you had an MBA in anatomical biology, what medical side are you referring to, and I am aware of accreditations. that honestly still isn't very really anything, what other classes have you taken? before you start saying that your degree is meaningful to try impress people make sure you know what you are talking about.
Planning on it :) A huge deciding factor for me was the fact that when I was in high school, I specifically remember some of the other guys making fun of one kid because he wasn't circumcised... ever since then, I swore I would NEVER put any of my sons through the humiliation this kid endured. He was so embarrassed about a decision he didn't have a say in. Plus it's a lot harder to clean & you'll have to teach them to clean it well. Personally, I would suggest doing whatever your S/O so when it comes down to "boy stuff", they can be on the same page of understanding... if that makes sense :)
Thank you ladies for your input(: I just don't want my son to be "different" from the rest when he grows up, I will definitely ask my ob about this(:
I'm letting my SO decide with my twin boys, he's the one with the penis. I also have 2 friends who, as adults, went through the procedure and say it was the worst experience of their lives. We will circumcise for those reasons and medical reasons that @twinmamma2015 mentioned.
I'm sorry I try to make things simple for people that aren't familiar with accreditations. I have an MBA and my undergraduate was Cellular Biology and Anatomical sciences. I ended up in a medical program (completed but never did a residency) and switched fields because I wanted to spend more time with my family so I went into the business side of medicine. @twinmamma2015. If you don't believe me I'm happy to upload the 12 certificates/diplomas I've collected over the last 10 years.
@sexxymama83, I just curious, that's all lol.... every man I've been with has been, except the boys "dad" and he wishes he had his done. My boys are fine and we've not had any problems with their circumcisions.
@twinmamma2015, 😂😂😂😂😂 yes it is. No such thing in Anatomical Biology........ Anywho! I'm having a boy and he will be circumcised 🙌🏽
Well this is coming from an RN with 30 year of experience, as well as having 2 boys of her own and 7 grandsons.
@jana.bear what kind of anatomical biology? and isn't an MBA a master of business degree? just a lil confused here
@cast_16, I liked the info I read on this website, you may want to check it out too ссылка
@mommy2jaidyn.noah, Haha! I've been with an uncircumcised man before and it didn't bother me one bit, I was totally thinking the same thing peek-a-boo! lol
Expecting my son in April, definitely circumcising! Just personally want to! Either way you decide what you want to do.
I circumcised my son only because my boyfriend is circumcised and he wanted to. I wouldn't have wanted to because I don't find it necessary. A few months ago the skin started reattaching itself and the pedi had to pull it back almost like ripping his skin. He said that if he hadn't done that on time we would have had to recircumsise him..
Every situation is different but 7 years and no infections from my husband. He was just shown how to clean it really good . And what lol it is ! Girl I be playing peek a boo with the turtle 😂😂😂😂🙈🙊 @rebcamdot
the supposed pros are to prevent infection. However most infections in that region are caused by poor hygiene and risky sexual behavior. (over masturbating can cause tiny blisters that continuously break open and cause infections.) So if over masturbation, an excess of sexual partners and poor hygiene are a problem for an adult man then he probably should get circumcised. But that's none of my business if my son has those problems. Some younger boys do get urinary tract infections but that's a hygiene issue again. I have my MBA in anatomical biology. lol
@cast_16 @babyanakin
Oh that would make sense then! yea it's hard because I'm worried long term I don't want him to be looked at as different but it looks so awful to snip off a piece of him!
@babyanakin, it's easier to clean, especially when they get older, cuz face it not all guys are clean lol and if they don't clean it well it can get infected and painful, think how sensitive the head of the penis is, and having infections, and they can give infections to girls. @cast_16 it was actually quite often that guys would come in because sometime later in life it becomes medically necessary. I don't believe it's cosmetic... but that is just my opinion and everyone is different
@dohmommy2016, I read that the US is the only country that does circumcisions
I don't think we are going to, we need to decide soon! my husband is from Europe and they don't normally.
We are not circumcising, it's not medically necessary and is cosmetic. My boyfriend is circumcised and frankly wishes he wasn't, because too much foreskin was removed and he experiences a decrease in sensation at times. @cast_16
@jana.bear, I agree I read somewhere that it's just a cosmetic procedure
I had the boys circumcised, working in the medical field I have seen grown men having to have it done later in life because it kept getting infected and them having problems from not having it done. I'd rather have them have it done when they're itty-bitty and don't remember it.
I do not like the idea of cutting off a piece of my son's penis. it's considered body modification to me since its not medically necessary. and that's saying a lot since my husband and I both have piercings and tattoos and stretches ears.
@babyanakin, my boyfriend doesn't want to because he isn't, honestly I'm not well informed on this so idk what to say lol
I did. I dated a guy once who wasn't circumcised & he hated it, so based of how I saw a 33 yr old man deal with it, I decided it was best if I did it. Personally, I didn't have a problem with it, I thought it was kinda fun - it was like a surprise lol.
We are not my husband isn't and he's fine . Plus I find my hubby ding a ling fun 😂 (no I won't find my sons fun save that for his wife)
his body his choice. I have seen hundreds and it is the worst thing I've ever seen. most boys aren't done anymore, and I don't understand parents choosing to do this without actually researching. sexasnatureintendedit.com. I've extensively researched for 7 years, ask me any question :-)
