how would you dress your baby under 9 months in 17 degrees weather ? just went to the grocery store seen a guy with a baby who only had a long sleeve shirt on, pants that looks like a capri and one sock ! wtf I slapped my forehead I thought I was dreaming. people need to learn how to dress their child going out. yes they say don't have a coat on while in their carseat but they weren't in a car so yes you should have your child better dressed. #onepissedoffmommy
I was always told that if I need a sweatshirt, my baby needs a long sleeve shirt, or a light sweater. if have a carseat cover for my 9 month old, but she would always wear a long sleeve, pants, socks, and I fight with her to keep her hat on. they over heat fast. I actually got mad at my daughters father's mom, because she had over dressed her( 3 layers of clothes) when she was going from a house to the car, to the car to the house. with her hear BLASTING. in her car, I understand she was trying to keep her warm, but if she has the carseat cover she just needs one layer. the baby should have at least had a light jacket. I do agree with you. and I'm constantly asking my little one. where's your other sock. lol
It's freezing where I live. but I was in the store for an hour and they also were in the same time as I was if not longer. I did mention in my post about a vehicle that it's different. he had a jacket on the baby didn't. I just don't think it's right when it's freezing out and a wind chill of 15 mph. just saying
if they are I'm infant car seats still and you have one of those covers for the car seats to need them warm. for example I have an insolated one it has fur on the inside. you should never put another blanket in there unless you plan on being outside for long periods of time. they over heat easier than us. just because the baby had a shirt and pants on with socks (missing one probably because they love to take them off randomly) doesn't mean they are freezing or even cold
I have no clue it blows my mind completely. they say always put an extra layer than what you have on.
drives me nuts! if you're in sweats why wouldn't the baby/kids be dressed the same?
That's what I figured, and those who struggle there are sources out there. churches help and they also give other numbers too. I've helped many mothers out like that. if I'm wearing a hoodie, a scarf and my winter coat. you bet my child is wearing the same thing. oh don't forget shoes lol bc I don't walk in the snow barefoot
the baby should of had a jacket on and shoes on
