I didn't get to take anything both times I went into labor it was a surprise, with my first I was already at the hospital so I didn't have time to go home and get what I wanted the second time I had my son and my water had broken and I had to rush to my moms house so again I couldn't take anything. I was there for about 3 days with both and I had a vaginal delivery just laying down in bed.

I can't recall what I took the first two times. Right now for baby I have a coming home outfit, a blanket and pacifiers. For myself, I have shampoo, conditioner, lotion, deodorant, pajamas, slippers, and will have toothbrush and toothpaste. With our first baby (boy), I stayed 72 hours after birth. With our second (daughter), I stayed 24 hours after birth and then I stayed near the hospital for 2 more days because our pediatrician was in the same city.

I'd say just have everything packed before hand in case your in my situation that way if you have someone pick up its ready

I birthed my baby at home, in water, no meds, and unassisted. I found polar bear or camel position to be the most comfortable

and my deliveries were both vaginal in the birthing bed.

honestly i didnt bring shit lol, i was a first time mom i didnt even know i had to bring stuff lol, i stayed in the hospital for 2 days, i did vaginal & epidural and well i layed down and my bf and mom where grabbing my feet and my head

I didn't get anything, brought clothes for both of us a bunch of diapers wipes, a lot of underwear for me, and I stayed for two days.
