can someone please tell me why I can no longer take baths at 33 weeks pregnant? I have to take showers.. I get irritated because I want to lay back in relax in the tub when I have back pains but my mom and boyfriend won't let me...

my mom is a nurse and said there is no reason why you cant, it has no effect the labor process, fast or slow that's all on your body...
if it breaks in the tub you would see flecks of white (vernix that covers the baby) that's what my birthing class instructor's said, that's one way to tell the difference between if you pee yourself and if your water breaks, so if in the tub you see white floating things all of a sudden that's your bag if water....
Most women don't know if their water breaks anyways... it's usually a trickle like you peed. but even if it was the big gush like in the movies, you wouldn't notice that any more in the shower with water running down your legs. it's silly that they are saying that, there is no reason why you shouldn't take a bath unless your doctor orders it.
they tell me my water could break and i wouldn't know it.. but I wanna know if there is a definite reason of why I can take a bath @twinmamma2015
I took baths right up until the day I had my boys, I don't see why they won't let you
