I turned 27 weeks today & ended up in the hospital having contractions, dilated 1 cm my day has been stressful

hopefully they'll give you medicine to stop it

thanks everyone, I was given medicine to stop the contractions but shortly after I was released from the hospital the contractions have started back

good vibes you way for sure! your pasted the second viability milestone but still have a little ways to go before it safe..

@mommywife, I have a friend who delivered at 24 weeks even and baby lived and is a happy healthy 3 yr old and I have another friend that delivered at 26 weeks and her baby was born in September and was come before Christmas which is impressive... I work in a nicu so it was impressive to me

o OK that's very impressive, is it possible to stay at 1 cm until its actually time for me to deliver? @aphrodite2014

@mommywife, it's very common I had a very good friend/co-worker's wife go into premature term labor was 4cm dilated and 80% effaced and went home for another almost month before she delivered!

OK, I don't understand what got me here, I get progesterone shots weekly and I take procardia @aphrodite2014

@mommywife, there are things that medications can't control to be honest.. try to take it easy drink lots of water.. and try to keep your stress levels low.. 32-34 weeks you have a much better chance of survival

take it easy @mommywife and stay hydrated ..I was born at 26 weeks and I was a twin almost 30 yrs ago technology has come along way..and babies have a better chance of surviving before 32 weeks now.but you need to prop them feet up and relax and keep that baby in the oven a little while longer ....I'll keep you and baby in my prayers.
