I don't know how much smoking really affects your baby they say they'll be underweight my sister in law smoked with five kids and two of them weighed more than 10lbs, all completely healthy and smooth delivery and pregnancy.

my sister 5months preg an still smoking cigs back to back the only thing u cn do is talk to them an hopefully they will get it threw they head cus u cnt make a person change if they dont wana b change they have to learn an do it for them selfs if not at least u tryd

I don't smoke either. I use to, 7 years ago. I really don't think weed would be doing that tho. maybe it is just her uterus stretching. yea smoking before eating is fine. it helps get an appetite. smoking weed is perfectly fine. people smoke every day. like I said it helps numerous people around the world with so many health issues, cancer, ext. but for her just to think bad things have came from smoking, and she still does it, make her a complete idiot. I would just let her do what she does and let the doctors take care of her. it seems that she's not listening to you, and its hard to keep trying, if someone really doesn't care. I wouldn't smoke while pregnant, I'm weired about even taking tylonal. I'm afraid of hurting my babies. I just eat and take my vitamins. and try to stay as active as I can. @faith078

Right! I told her are yu really Smoking Weed or are yu doing other things..She would tell me Weed! But I knew weed wouldnt make yu bleed or cramp.. Nd her dr Tells her its only da Baby Pushing Up Stretching her Uterus.. I dont know. She Smokes daily even before she eats! is that healthy? while Pregnant? @faith078, o no. that's not okay. sounds like she doesn't really care about her baby. it's very hard to leave something alone like that. her doctor shouldn't tell her its fine to smoke if it does that. but I'm kinda doubting he did say its okay. I watched my sister in law do drugs with my nephew and through it out of her hand. thankfully cps got involved. she got pregnant with another man's baby and did it again. poor baby had to fight for her life to survive in ICU for months. I completely stopped talking to her. thankfully the babies are now okay. but who knows what the future holds.

it has to be hard on you to just let that go. what is the doctors at the hospital saying about her bleeding? I'm sure their checking her urine. not sure if their drug testing her yet, untell she gives birth.

Yea I kno Why I told her its not Good for her baby becuz Everytime she Smokes She cramps nd Bleed a lil.. nd at da end of the day I end up taking her to the E.R @shannaa24

@faith078, if she told you the weed caused her baby disabilities,( which it doesn't) she's an idiot to keep smoking. for her to feel that way, think that way and still do it. makes no sence to me. just quit smoking till you have the baby. I don't understand some people. hopefully she wasn't messing with anything else to cause him issues. I'm sorry he's got disabilities. no baby or anybody should have to go through that. I definitely hope she wasnt the cause of it. all you can do is be a friend. but don't fault yourself for her decisions.

It's honestly one of those things where there's no research yet. since weed has been legalized in some areas we will soon know more about it, but for now it's generally advised against only because there is no scientific studies to back up one argument or the other. if she thinks her first kid has disabilities because of weed, and still chooses to smoke with that opinion, then she's choosing to be selfish. now if she DIDN'T believe weed was the cause of her child's disability then that's her personal choice. but she's openly stated that she will continue to make this choice "knowing" it gave her first kid a disability.

I know woman who smoked weed while they were pregnant and babies are perfectly fine. I'm not one that does it, but I'm not gonna bash a woman who does. weed actually helps with alot of stuff. now idk if she continues to smoke to her due date, if they'll take the baby away. but, she makes her own decisions and you shouldn't feel at fault for her decisions. if her doctor says its fine, then its okay. @crunchymomma is right.

@crunchymomma, Yea yu Right Imma stay out of it.. But She told me his disability came from Smoking Weed unless she lied about Something! Me myself knows that Weed cant affect a unborn baby.. Im just going off what she told me nd Im just being Considered about my God Children but I let it go.

weed has never been connected to cause disabilities, there has never been any negative side effects to date from smoking weed while pregnant. so you don't really have any scientific evidence to back you up, meaning you don't have any ground to tell her she's wrong.

at this point in time smoking weed during pregnancy, especially if her doctor gave her the okay, is the mother choice and no one can tell her otherwise.
