Anyone had a sweep that was unfavourable but still helped things along? Just had a sweep and they could reach the cervix but it was right at the back :/
Contraction questions I had a membrane sweep today. Before the sweep I was 3-4 dilated & 75% effaced.
Just had my midwife appointment, I'm measuring 4 wks ahead 😱😱😱.....booked in for a stretch and sweep on Friday.
Just had a membrane sweep... I remember it being a lot more painful with my first and had no blood after this time... Anyone had a sweep on due date and it actually worked? Did yours hurt?
Had membrane sweep at 11am and very little spotting and that's about it 😣 Even went walking and bouncing on ball.

I'm not sure what they feel like, just a lot of pressure and slightly stings but he had to go right to the back to reach my cervix so that could be why it was painful @planner26 x

I had a sweep with my second at 40 weeks, nothing happened, went and had an internal 5 days over because it hough my waters had gone, which they hadn't and went into labour the following morning lol x
