Anybody done or in cosmetology school? I'm 22 weeks pregnant due in May and trying to decide whether to start hair school in February to get some hours started and then take a few months break after the baby is born or just to start it in the fall (August or September)?

Who else's kids starts their Thanksgiving break today after school?! My daughter schools is dismissing early at 1:45 pm to start their break !!!
School fees Having an intense debate on Facebook about school fees for public school. I'm in the "stop whining about school fees and stop having kids if you can't afford them" camp and there is the other camp of "free school is a constitutional right! It's bull s*** we have to pay anything at all".
graduate What year did you graduate high school?
My son starts kindergarten in a month. I went to the schools website to try to find a list of supplies they need. One thing is headphones for iPad...I hate that schools are starting to do this!!!! A lot of kids already have an iPad or kindle or some sort of technology at home, school should be a break from it! Also why would you give a 6 year old an iPad & expect it to be in the same exact condition at the end of the year!?! Does your kids school have iPads?

i went to cosmotology school. the school will recommend you start after you have your baby because of the stuff you will miss.

That makes sense. I didn't know if I could freeze it or something and then just start back where I left off. If that makes sense

Either way I can't decide what's better. I'd rather wait to start after pregnancy but my parents want me to start now

I think I probably will too. Because even if I can freeze it and start back up after I have the baby I might forget everything I learned lol. The fumes probably wouldn't be good during pregnancy either! @hayleynb

That's what I was thinking. The Fumes. And The motivation to get up and go to school when having slow energy right now lol idk I really regret not starting cosmetology school sooner... I always knew I wanted to do it but I listened to everyone else who kept telling me "I won't make much money doing that"... I'm kicking myself now cause I really want to do it and I don't care about the pay anymore
