so i wanted to call a pediatrician to have that done and set up for the baby once she arrives but how do i do that without her having insurance yet or is it just my insurance until she is born ?
Ladies I called my insurance about breast pump and they said with their insurance in order to get a pump I get a prescription from doctor then I call 3 different numbers to see what my insurance covers but the only thing is I have to wait til baby is born to call and get pump so I want to at least buy a hand pump which do you ladies recommend for hand pump and when I can get a pump from insurance please n thank you 💖💖
Question ladies!! I have insurance that covers my obgyn visits and lab work but it does not cover ultrasounds nor the labor and delivery...what do y'all recommend I do, or what is out there that can help me(note I do not qualify for Medicaid as well 😞)
Pregnant Mommy’s with no insurance what do you pay per a visit to see your ob? I need to get in to see an ob but I have NO Insurance and I’m scared if I don’t get any will I ever be able to afford to see one? With my daughter I had acchs but no longer qualify 😭
So idk if I’m an asshole for thinking this but a girl I used to go to school with is having her 3rd kid and she’s planning a baby shower and she had one with her other two. I feel like a baby shower is something you do with ur first pregnancy. I live far from my family so I didn’t have one but i did have a baby registry and I’m not even doing that with this pregnancy. Idk I just feel like 3 baby showers is a lot! Especially when she gets things handed to her. Idk maybe I’m an ass for thinking that

at the hospital the baby is considered part of you still. once you leave, the baby will be it's own entity. however, most pediatricians know how it works, waiting to get the social and then insurance, and they will be able to tell you how their office handles it. just call and ask them.

where I live once you have the baby they ask who you want the pediatrician to be and then the hospital makes the first appt for you and even has the Dr come and look at the baby. I've never had to set it up
