My friend just gave birth to a almost 10 pound baby vaginally he literally looks 8 months already and he's long

I have a few friends who had 8-9lb babies. everything was fine. one girl had a c-section. the other was vaginal. the doctors are there to take the best care for you and your baby. they won't let anything bad happen. I'll probably have to have a c-section this time around. so far I've relaxed my mind about it. there's so many woman now a days that get them. whatever is best for the babies :)

@shannaa24, this is my first baby and I really have a plan of how I want labor and delivery to go and I want to at least be able to experience labor I don't want to just have a csection it's important to me that I get the full experience of bringing our baby boy into the world obviously if he's health is at risk nothing else matters but I just would like to really try a vaginal birth before electing to have a csection

you never know what the future holds. you may get exactly what you want. my son was 7.1 when he came out. your baby won't get too big. everything will be okay. there's plenty of woman who deliver naturally with an 8-9lb bsby. I think my husband was a 10lb baby. I was born around 5-6lbs. @gabesmommy

I gave birth to a 10 lb 11 oz baby via c-section. He's 8 months now, in size 4 diapers, wearing 12/18mo clothing, weighs about 24 lbs and is about 30" tall. He would not come out vaginally. we waited 22 hours and I was stuck at 5 cm.

he was only estimated to be 8.5-9 lbs.

@isaiahjamesmommy, you tried a vaginal birth though and it just didn't work and that is more than okay I just want to get the chance to at least try vaginal I actually give a lot of respect to csection mommies you actually have to have surgery to bring your bundle of joy into the world but I just really want the chance to try I have faith in my body but if it doesn't work it doesn't work and that's okay but I don't want to miss out on the chance of having a labor experience

@shannaa24, thank you my SO was 9lb1oz vaginal birth so I know it can be done just hormones and other added stress just make me worry

my experience was kind of stressful, but kind of comical at the same time. whatever happens, the end result is the BEST!

My first child was 8lbs 13oz and I had him vaginally. You'll be ok hun.

my bug was 9lbs 3oz vaginal birth. we didnt have time for epidural as i was 9 cm dilated when i got to the hospital. labor and delivery was 4 hrs and 30 mins total... its do able.. promise!

@mommybug, i don't want an epidural anyway I want to have an all natural unrestricted birth free to move around be on my birthing ball and what not my midwife is very supportive of my wishes but we will just have to see what is in store and thank you makes me feel better that you had a big baby as well 🤗

i didn't want it either until i got in that room.. i was so intimidated by the nurses and doc idk why.. i panicked.. most definitely glad i got to experience everything with no epidural.. good luck!
