Good morning everybody. I just downloaded this app and I'm curious to see how it will help me in the progress of getting pregnant. I'm 38 years old and I just had surgery last month to remove nine fibroids from my uterus. My surgeon was able to keep my uterus intact and fertile in hopes to get pregnant one day. However, my biological clock is literally ticking and he said I need to start trying to get pregnant immediately after two months from surgery. It puts a lot of pressure on me because I was hoping to get married first and start trying to get pregnant next year. But time is not on my side. The surgeon had to leave two small fibroids in my uterus because it was attached to an artery. If he remove them, it would cause a lot of bleeding and it would have forced him to do a hysterectomy. Since those two fibroids are still in me, I need to get pregnant now before they grow again. I don't know the first thing about getting pregnant and I am open to any suggestions and advice. I'm also very nervous but excited about this new chapter in my life. I've waited so long to find an amazing man to have a little one with and it appears that my time has come. So here we go… 😊
Thank you so much for your advice. 😃 I have not charted my cycles yet. I'm waiting till my two months from surgery is over to monitor and track my periods.
Welcome!!! I'd* say the best/stupidest/most annoying advice I have for conceiving is to not try. Make sure sex is fun! Rather than a chore just to produce. Connect with your partner before, during, and after the deed. There are products that claim they could help the chances of conceiving but I have no idea how those work (there's preseed which is a sperm friendly lubricant) I've heard of teas that may help. You'd have to research and see if any of those would be something that interest you. I would recommend starting a prenatal before trying to conceive. Have you ever charted your cycles?
I would download a pregnancy app like glow is pretty good track everyday and it lets you know when you ovulating
