I would ignore them, I know it's easier said then done. But seriously I would tell them it's not their child and you and your SO love it and that's all that matter's. (: good luck!

Did they make that baby and put it inside you! Nope it was all you, my fiancés mother told everyone I was naming my baby Dacqalen or how ever you spell it if it was a boy and deniesha or something like that if it was a girl, I walked up to her when I heard about it and very rudely (in the same tone that she told me she dont like names me and my fiancé picked) are you the one ho made this baby? Did you place this baby in my uterus? I didn't think so. You have no say in any of the decisions on mine and his child. Your a grandma your here to spoil the kid not make any decisions an then I told her to learn her boundaries. And since then we haven't talked but needless to say, ain't nobody else told me what they think about my baby's names we picked

it's your baby! y'all love the name...they can give her a nickname if it's that bad to them. their opinions don't matter
