I am a stay at home working-mom to a handsome baby that just so happens to have unilateral hearing loss ( he's deaf in his right ear) although we have this small hiccup he is hitting all of his milestones beautifully. We are in the New Orleans area. Hi ladies! My son is 16 months (1 year and 4 months) old right now and I was wondering if anyone would give their opinion on the right time to have another. I have an iud and I'm debating on whether or not to get it removed...Part of me thinks the sooner the better but the other part of me says wait until my baby is at least 3 before trying again. I'm 29 currently and my fiancé says he doesn't wanna wait until he's 40 with a newborn (he's 34)...insight anyone? Anyone else have to make a decision...

My son is 10 months old and has had unilateral hearing loss since birth. He's totally deaf in is right ear. If there is anyone else with a child with hearing loss, how do you deal with it? Does your child have a device of some sort? Speech therapy?

i think I'm showing signs but my motherly instincts are still at full force...my son and his happiness and health are my priority but when i have a second to myself i feel depressed...
