Almost 27 weeks pregnant with high blood pressure. What did your doctors do to help you if you've had high blood pressure with your pregnancy.?
If I remember correctly, I was about 35 weeks and they made me keep checking my blood pressure at cvs and at home several times a day to see if I could get it to come down on my own. I cad to call the Drs office every morning and afternoon to tell them what my reading was. And that last time I called she said she wasn't taking any more chances and for me to grab my bag and head to the hospital because it looked like I was going to have my baby that day. At the hospital it still was high so they told me that they would prep for surgery and my husband had exactly one hour to get there if he was going back in the room with me. My baby girl came out perfectly fine. Totally healthy. And she was able to go home with me after only 3 days in the hospital. We were discharged together. I was so thankful about that.
they can put you on bp medication if you're not close enough to being full term. I had H.E.L.L.P. Syndrome, which is worse than preeclampsia, and had my son emergency c section at 38 weeks.
@butterflynycki, thank you! When did u know you had preeclampsia? When did u find out? Other than the c-section was there any difficulties? Iim sorry i have anxiety and im questioning everything :/
I'm going threw the same thing I recently was told my blood pressure was high and I'm 34weeks they wanted me to do a 24hr urine specimen but I'm kind of nervous to do it because I had to do one previously with my last baby and I had to get induced that day(37wks) because the specimen showed I had protein in my urine I don't want that happen this time because I think its too early to have the baby
