As a professional I can help a bit. If you color your hair at home with cheap box dye do it in a very ventilated area, don't bleach it at home. I'd recommend doing all hair coloring in a salon because the color we use has less chemical smells so in a ventilated salon you and your baby have no risk.

Perms are also "safe" but I wouldn't recommend them at all, every time I perm someone's hair I get light headed and my baby slows down his kicking, I try to wear a mask when I perm someone's hair but it isn't allowed when the boss is there.
