only my boyfriend knows how to drive the stick shift and that's our only car. so if he doesn't feel like going somewhere, we just don't go. so sometimes I feel like I can't go where I want to go. sigh.

I'm in the saaaame boat. it is so frustrating. and I tell him I want to learn and he tells me he won't let me learn on his car so I'm just SOL

Put the clutch to the floor first gear slowly let up while putting gas in, watch rpm switch as needed by slowly pushing in clutch while you release gas. Also remember stopping do clutch and break and when parking don't forget the e break
