Quick question for the women who are pregnant or have been, to make sure the test is accurate the recommend taking it in…

I took two tests at night an one in the morning. The ones at night were more clear than the one in the morning. And I took the morning one the day after the two at night

you're supposed to take it in the morning cause thats when the HCG levels are at their peak. but once you hit a certain point it'll be late enough for every test to be accurate almost.

The first pee of the morning is when you take it, especially if you are so early.

I took three dollar tree tests in the late afternoon & I had BFP's on all three, immediately. And I mean bright pink lines on all of them and I was only 5 weeks. I'm really not sure that it makes much of a difference, from personal experience

And I used the regular 89¢ ones and they worked fine, but I had some first response for back up.

My doctor said the whole "morning urine" thing was just a myth basically and it didn't matter. Although I did take mine in the morning I got a positive, I could take it at any time and it was the same amount of darkness.

how late were you?

I don't think that's true. I took mine a night at 11 PM and got the strong positive.

The more you wait, the more hormones you are gonna have.. so if you're pregnant, it's gonna say at any time of the day. Even if the test comes negative it is still possible that you don't have hormones enough to show you could actually be pregnant. But most likely, if you're more than 4 weeks it should show. ;)

I was 2 days late & took mine in the afternoon & it said pregnant.

Depending on how far along you are. You should normally take it in the morning. Usually it's 2 weeks after your missed period.

Yah some women take them at any time of the day so if your hormone levels are high enough then it won't matter what time of the day you take it try dollar store tests first then once you've confirmed it use one of the more expensive ones for the announcement

how many days late were you?

your first pee in the morning has the most concentrated amount of the pregnancy hormones. although anytime is okay your first pee may show earlier results then a mid day pee. :) hope this helps.

I took a test at like 9 at night and it was positive. like no hesitation no nothing but a positive sign.

I'm using the app ovia and my period was expected yesterday and I still haven't got it. It recommended me taking it this morning but I assumed with my luck I should wait a little bit should I take it when I get home or wait until in the morning or even a couple more days

If you are pregnant, it most likely won't matter, but I have heard taking it in the morning does make a difference
