im 13 days late of my period my last was November 18.. ok.. backing up a bit.. i received one depo in june after my son was born i was suppose to in September but i missed it finally had my regular period in November and was due on the sixteenth but nothing yet.. ive taken 3 preg test from dollar tree..all negative.. got a appointment at 10:40 this morning... what do u guys think?

I had pneumonia and my period was weeks late lol.
But I doubt you that you have a cyst. Maybe your cycle is just off track. that can happen. Have you changed your eating habits? been sick? exercise?
Most go away on their own. If they get too big they burst. causing extreme pain. But you can have them and not even know. I really don't know what causes them. Maybe hormones. @passionate28

@passionate28 I honestly don't think it can kill you, I had one at 12, and you should still be able to have more kids. cysts can go away on their own. sometimes if the patch (BC) is used it can decrease the size of the cyst itself. that's what they had me do.

Are they gonna do an ultrasound to check your ovaries? Make sure you don't have any cysts. That crap is painful. Your period may just be off track?
well blood test was negative .. thyroid test was normal now i just need to make sure my ovaries are ok @sleek1312
Its different for everyone. I've seen many cases like mine. Then see the cases where as soon as they get off it they get pregnant. Not the case with me. I had to work hard to get my daughter :(
@sleek1312 I had the depo shot for 4 years. got off of it.... December 14' got my period like February of 15' got pregnant October 15' I loved it. just wanted a baby now finally. @passionate28 @mama.of.one @suprise
@sleek1312, oh wowz i just got my depo shot yesterday i had it when i was younger but had got off of it due to month long period but knew it was one bc guaranteed wouldn't get pregnant on my husband wants to wait till our lil one 5 years old for a 2nd

I got pregnant the same month I got the nexplanon out, about 12 days after they removed it :/
^^and that's why I say it should not be on the market. Also the Nexaplon (sp) is exactly the same thing as the depo. just in your arm. I believe.
i was on it for 5 years. It made me infertile for 4 years after I had got off it. 1 shot can mess it all up. if your tests are negative. Get blood work done.
@sleek1312, i called and talk to different nurses at hospitals even the place that gave me the shot said the depo would not be in my system anymore because i only had one and that was six months ago.. they also told me that in order for it to stay in body i have to keep it up consistency every 12 weeks or i will become pregnant.. I've never been through this before
Its probably the hormones releasing from your body. The depo is by far the worst BC out there and should not be on the market at all. For the depo to get out of your system fully, it could be anywhere from 6 months to 1 year +. I would get blood work just in case. I learned the hard way with the depo
