Is anyone familiar with My Little Me? I'm not sure that my midwife will be doing an ultrasound and when I turn 8 weeks I want to have one done to make sure the baby is healthy. Was looking into My Little Me... Or better question, do midwives normally do ultrasounds or have them ordered? I'm extremely new to the midwife/home birth process.
@jacesterlingsmommy, my doctor said it was what he considers a bad luck tumor. No real cause, and it never spread so he feels confident it won't come back. It was also in my jaw so I don't feel like I would be high risk
How far along are you @altmom ? Amazing news that you're cancer free. However should you see a regular ob? Does it make you more high risk? I kept having bad feelings too. My first baby also and only a month prior I had miscarried and surprisingly got pregnant the next month, so I was pretty worried. Honestly I still do worry and am almost 20 weeks. I guess us mom's will just stress until we finally get to hold our babies. Best of luck!
@jacesterlingsmommy, glad to hear everything is going well!!! @paige1212 yeah I had 2 perfect pregnancies so far and for some reason I'm just so afraid things won't be so perfect this time around. Not to mention I just got told in November that I'm cancer free so it's a little nerve wracking!! I'm definitely going to look into that blood test though!!!
@altmom, I'm just too scared all the time as it's my first and I honestly think I'd be this worried even if it wasn't my first since every pregnancy is different, lol its definitely a peace of mind seeing baby, hearing the heartbeat is amazing but both just made me feel 100 times better. i stressed like a mad woman everyday till my 20 week ultrasound lol I had a blood test at 10 weeks that was supposed to show any abnormalities and tells the sex if you have that option I definitely would do it just because it makes you feel better while waiting for an ultrasound lol
When I had my first appointment at 8 weeks with my doctor she automatically schedules an ultrasound for dating purposes. I paid out of pocket at 13 weeks to find out the gender because she won't do another until 20 weeks. The private places around here won't do ultrasounds until 13-15 weeks. I was very nervous too until my 12 week mark but I haven't had any complications so far and everything is perfect.
That sounds about right I only had 2 US with my other kids @paige1212 but I also wasn't with a midwife... I guess I'll just have to talk to her and find out her procedures but I'd definitely like to know that everything is going smoothly
I had one at 6 weeks to determine how far along I was because I had nooo idea and my next one wasn't until 20 weeks for AS.. I love going with a midwife but I wish I saw my baby more..
you won't get an ultrasound at 8 weeks unless u have a high risk pregnancy
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Racial nickname
I sometimes call my lo monkey. To me he looks like a little monkey. My so says it's racist and offensive. What do you think?

Wanted to share with my baby bump ladies !!! This was my ultrasound pictures at 7 weeks 4 days !! I'm 8 weeks 1 day today !! Have to turn pictures upside down to see baby.. I'm in love with my little one !!!! Due date january 26th, 2019.
Lame rant: I still have no idea of how far along I am ?
I have no idea of how far along I am, and I couldn't get an ultrasound appointment before next Friday ? the midwife I called won't see me before my ultrasound ?
Birth Plan Rant
I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?
@altmom, congrats on being cancer free!!:) I'm sure everything will go just fine stay positive! don't worry till you have a reason too, that's what I have to tell myself anyways lol
