I don't want to make some people uncomfortable by posting the picture, but I got my membranes stripped yesterday morning and since last night when I wipe I have extreme amounts of discharge and some blood... My doctor didn't warn me about anything when she did it . Just want to know if its normal 😩
Is it rude to not want anyone at the hospital? I was just informed that my MIL wants to be waiting at the hospital so as soon as I pop out the baby she can rush in to be with the baby. I am really a private person and dont really want anyone at the hospital when I give birth (except my husband). I was planning on calling all the family to come to the hospital once I was all cleaned up and ready for visitors. Am I being rude? How do I tell them I dont want visitors a minute after pushing out a baby?! I would like some private time for just my husband & I!
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
I know I've posted this before but when your water was leaking did it stay leaking or just with movements or what? Did you get contractions shortly after or no? I rolled out of bed and felt warmth leak out but Idk if it was possibly urine or what...never had it happen. It didn't smell like anything really...I know I should either call l&d or go in but I just want some experiences please. I want to wait a bit just in case it's nothing.
This is gonna be my first, but I want 2. :)

I had mine done yesterday too, I lost some of my plug and have been experiencing a lot of BH. I think this is early labor...maybe wishful thinking but I feel like poo and that's usually a good sign !

If you wanna go into labor! That's all good news. Funny how it changes once your at term. Before term blood and discharge is a big no no but once you are term I'm all about it haha !!

Its normal. I got mine stripped my last pregnancy and the exact same thing happened to me. I had my baby 2 days later.

If it becomes a significant amount of blood just give her a call. And see what she says.

It is very normal to bleed a little bit when they strip the membrane
